2 stars cause it charges my 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, but is not able to connect to the app via wifi. I can get the app connected to Bluetooth, but that isn't helpful as you have to be pretty much sitting next to the unit to get any information from it via Bluetooth. I have tried both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi bands and both successfully establish the link, but once you click to see details, it constantly pops you "device offline, please try again later"Still waiting to hear back from the manufacturer, I do have an open claim on Amazon rn regarding this issue.

The app does not work properly. I can not access the wifi on the unit. the blurtooth connects and I ca start the charging but that is it. Setting a time to start charging does not work. I would return if it were not already installed. I will never look at a Tessan product again.

Our 10 year old GE Level 2 charger stopped working and we called in an electrician to see what went wrong.Turned out, when we moved the GE to our new house in PA from NC, either it was installed improperly or somehowwent bad and the electrician told us 'you're lucky it didn't burn your house down' because the female, in the wallreceptacle was virtually carbonized.Before the electrician came, I ordered this new Tessan charger and it is GREAT. Had a few teething problems however, it has a phone app that tells all sorts of stuff, able to program charging times, get feedback, etc. I recommend this charger by Tessan without reservation. We now charge our 2024 Equinox EV at 10 or 20% to 80%.I highly recommend anyone needing one, to look into this one plus the price is very reasonable and you may ever get a Federal tax credit (not a deduction) a credit, depending on where you live, for the purchase price and installation.

I needed a new hardwired EV charger for my wife's office and that led me to order this one. I'll admit that my expectations were low. This was due to the price point--most hardwired chargers cost significantly more. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised as this is one of the best value EV chargers--hardwired or otherwise--that I've encountered. It doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel though it does deliver everything you'd expect from a quality Level 2 hardwired unit at a great value price. It has a simple though functional smartphone app. Charging time is excellent and particularly so given the low price tag. It has all of the usual protection features including IP65 water resistance, fire resistance, protection from undervoltage, overvoltage, etc. It even has a 25 foot cable which is always helpful and the wall mounting hardware is included (many brands make you buy them separately). Maybe not the most exciting EV charger I've seen but a great value choice that 'punches above it's weight'. Highly recommended!!

It seems simple, but the thing I like most about this hard-wired charger, is that the cable is 25 feet long, so you aren't crammed when needing to use it. We've had that experience. But, beyond that, it's pretty powerful two, level two to be exact. It charges quickly and can be monitored from your phone.Build quality is awesome all around. Since you can mount it either in garage or outside, that's a peace of mind. This comes with a J1772 plug, which is for just about everybody but Tesla, but you could buy an adapter if that's your thing. So, it is versatile as well.I would suggest this charger to anyone needing one. It's definitely one of the better ones we've used.

I finally got the electrician to install this at the shop. It is so easy to use, just plug and play. The electrician installed a 10-50 plug and corresponding outlet. Same functionality as other EV chargers, but too bad it doesn't have a button to adjust amps. Instead, I have to change the charge rate via the car settings.I typically charge at 24 amps to slow charge the car, and not shock the battery.Build quality is very good with thick cables...I'm guessing somewhere around 6 gauge wiring. This makes it much safer when charging an EV because the cables allow more power with less resistance. The case is a nice modern design with a built in cord holder. The materials are strong and should provide many years of service. Pricewise, it is in line with other wall chargers.My personal opinion is to use wall chargers when practicable for safety. Mobile chargers are only for occasional use.

This TESSAN Level 2 EV Charger has been a fantastic addition to my home. It's made charging my electric vehicle so much easier and faster. The installation was straightforward, and I appreciate the 25ft cable which provides flexibility in where I park my car.The charging speed is impressive. I can get a full charge overnight, which is a huge convenience. The app control is also a great feature. I can monitor charging progress, schedule charging times, and even control the charger remotely, all from my phone.The build quality of the charger is excellent. It feels sturdy and well-made.
