LEVEL5 Offset Finishing Knives feature a handle that is offset slightly from the blade edge. This design enables you to lay the blade flatter against the wall for a smoother, tighter finish without coming into contact with your hand. The end result? You'll be able to produce a top notch finish easier and more efficiently, while simultaneously reducing wrist and hand fatigue.
LEVEL5 Offset Finishing Knives also feature a unique, ergonomic handle design that enables you to remove the hammer end and so you can mount the knife to a standard painter's pole or a LEVEL5 extendable skimming blade handle (using an optional adapter). You can then adjust the knife to any angle for any job.

I am a drywall repair arteest in San Diego 3-7 days a week. This is my first offset knife and am very impressed with the quality and design. Took a few minutes to get used to the grip and then wow!! Really comfortable and easy to spread nice even coats of mud. The ease of the grip makes the 12” knife feel like a 10” so the 14” and 16” knives would be a great choice too.

Got this to remove popcorn acoustical ceiling. Wow, the quality is superb... no gouges in the drywall... works like a charm! If you want quality, buy this ASAP without giving it a second thought!!!

the only thing that his knife would accomplish is cause more problems. the head wobbles badly and swivels freely with no way to fix it in place. a complete waste of time and money.

Not sure if it’s there manufacturing process that has terrible qc or if it’s amazon. Received a new offset no indication it’s a like product new, paid for new, assume it’s new but it’s all scratched up has metal burrs on edges/corners of blade, as well as terrible corner radius edges on handle. Looks like it fell from the top of the Empire State Building onto its corners.
