This combo worked well right out of the box , it's great for jigging and can be casted as well, fast tip with just the right amount of backbone.

Reel broke before we could even use it. Pulled the trigger to release the line and the whole base snapped. Made of cheap plastic. Extremely upset as I bought this for my son as the trigger style reel reminded me of fishing with my grandfather and how easy it was for me to learn to cast.

Great little reel. I would suggest using monofilament though. Braided line didn’t cast well on it.

Bought this pole and the first combo that came the reel fell apart right out of the box and was missing parts. Tried to fix it and ended up throwing it in the garbage. Ordered another reel and it was ok. Will see how it holds up come fishing season. Looks pretty cheaply made.

I bought this mainly for my grand daughter to fish bc she young and the trigger makes it super easy to cast. Drag works good. She loves it! If it broke tomorrow I’d buy the exact same one!

Good price but needs to be limber for crappie and to pitch with it.Has a not smooth drag to it and reel loads up quick when fish on.
