If you have an nE code, buy this part first before calling a professional. You will have to get to the bottom of your dishwasher to replace, however, after getting to the part, replacement takes less than 5 minutes!

100% fixed what could have been an expensive problem. The only issue was the removal of the old motor and the installation of it's replacement. Was in a very tight area area due to the superstructure of the dishwasher. Otherwise is a pretty simple fix. Also would recommend getting the corresponding grommet/washer and replacing it at the same time.

LG Washer threw an NE code which translated to having to change this “Diverter motor”. Called local suppliers with no avail, Amazon had this shipped to my door in 2 days. Took me 2 hours to change and works like a charm again!

This fixed my problem (error code nE)When I got the dishwasher out of the kitchen cabinet I was able to measure the suspect motor resistance — sadly it measured the expected 4000 ohms— so I removed it and applied 110volts AC. It did NOT move the spindle—yay!!Then just for good measure I applied 110ac to the new motor and it rotated the spindle360 degreesI took the old bad motor apart. You can see in the pictures ,there was significant rust and corrosion inside. I suspect that the gears were so bound up with rust and corrosion the motor could not turn them. I took pictures of everything as I dismantled and had to run my new motor a bit with my 110v AC cord to turn the spindle until the position matched back up with the proper spindle position. The new motor accepted the plastic cam piece from the old motor assembly (it opens and closes the micro-switch). The motor dropped back in easily mounting with the 2 screws.90% of the work was extracting the dishwasher and re installing in my kitchen cabinet. Approximately 2 hours total (5 minutes to switch out the motor). This included removing all the crap under my sink and dismantling and re-mantling plumbing and power. I have shims and challenges reinstalling and had to adjust to level the unit (used the pull out dish rack rails to measure level) note there was an inexpensive rubber gasket others had also purchased (which I purchased sight unseen) this was not useful and had no where to go don’t waste your moneyHope all this helps— good luck!!!Follow on ..,5/6/23 the water corrosion that caused it to fail has now killed the pump (pretty rotted out)Bought $294 assembly from repair clinic.comPump and Motor AssemblyGenuine OEM Part # | RC Item # 265945530 minutes to install works like a dream

Bought a complete set of LG kitchen appliances in 2015 replacing 18 year old Kenmore originals in our home. Worst junk I've ever purchased. As of 12/2021 the oven fan has broken once and the touch panel buttons are showing serious wear. The ice maker in the fridge has been replaced 3 times (2X under warranty and once on me) and the compressor went out right after 5 years but LG did replace free after waiting 10 days for their authorized service and the loss of a couple hundred $$ of food. What kind of fridge compressor goes out in 5 years, they usually run forever. The new one is louder than the original. Now the dishwasher, in 6 years, I have replaced this servo motor 6 times. It lasts anywhere from 4 days to 18 months, I guess averaging about a year. It is an inexpensive yet vital piece to the operation of the machine and it is junk. It's a cheap part but the entire insides of the machine have to be removed, the electrical and possibly water and garbage disposal, depending on setup, disconnected and the machine pulled out and flipped over to replace it. Then reverse entire process and bolt back to counter top. I've replaced this so many times I have begun to damage my counters from removing and replacing this dishwasher. The only appliance of the 4 that hasn't had a major breakdown in the 6 years I've had it (dare I say it?) is the microwave. Wish I could get my $$ back but because of my experience I'll never bring LG into my house again. Period. Don't care what product it is. As each one of these break going forward I will replace instead of repair and write it off to life lesson. Maytag here I come. LG appliances, repair if you have to, stay away if you can. Junk.

Replaced at the same time with part EBF64375202 based on some research and the code is gone and the dishwasher has been working daily for two weeks now without any problems. The old pump seemed to have a little bit of water intrusion so I imagine this one will eventually go out once the internals get wet like the old one.
