The old one cracked and fell out. A little research for the part number, less than 10 minutes of work and the door is as good as new.

perfecto, fixed my fridge. 9 year old fridge was not staying closed because this bushing was in pieces so the door was sagging. this was an easy fix.

This item replaced the bottom plastic insert on our refrigerator door. Now it closes smoothly again

Refrigerator door was not swinging easily & you could hear metal on metal scraping. The bushing in the bottom door hinge was worn down. So for the cost of this little piece of plastic and about 20 minutes of my time, itβs as good as new. On mine, all it took was a socket wrench and a Phillips screwdriver to remove the top and middle hinge and both doors. (Freezer on top LG refrigerator).
