when I tried to use it on my 1gallon jug I pushed it in lightly and it completely went through, I had to break the glass to get it out :(

Had two holes to plug in my tub/shower enclosure due to having to remove the towel bar. I wasn't able to find a cap that would fit the hole and overlap the edges. The inner diameter of the holes was just slightly over 1", maybe 1 1/32". I decided to try these silicon rubber bungs and they worked perfectly. By turning and pushing them into the holes they went in until only a quarter inch is left exposed. The holes are sealed, they look good and no water will get in. Someday I may locate a proper hole plug but this worked like a charm.

My in ground spa was losing water and I suspected it might be one of the pipes to the spa jet outlets. These are 1" diameter (inside) PVC pipes. I was able to use these stoppers to narrow down where the leak was. The size is perfect to plug the end of the 1" pipe.

I purchased these #6 silicone rubber stoppers for use in my 1 gallon water jugs. I had rubber stoppers before but they had a strong odor that would transfer to the water. At first these had a very slight odor that I believe came from the plastic packaging. I boiled the stoppers in water for two minutes and now I detect no odor.

They fit my 1 Gal jugs with about a 1/4" stick up to remove. Any smaller they would be flush... but any larger they may creep out. These fit the 1 gallon jugs they sell at many Brew stores.
