I was in a pinch, leaving on a long road trip, so I did not have time to return this part for a refund and wait for a replacement. The problem with this sensor is that the body of the sensor is not aligned properly within the metal mounting clip, and it cannot be rotated (or at least, I wasn't going to try it and possibly break it). Basically, the sensor would not even point at the correct spot in the flame if I used it as-is.The part number given in the product description exactly matched the OEM part number I was replacing.I ended up having to remove part of the metal clip by snipping it off, and fastened it down in the proper orientation using a large, flat washer to hold it in place. The sensor works fine; it just doesn't mount correctly without modification.Note that a lot of the time, these sensors just get dirty. Try cleaning them with a gentle abrasive before replacing if your furnace is not working. I did that the first time with my old sensor and it worked well for about three years. It's still good to replace the sensor but, if you're without heat, at least get your heat back on while the new sensor arrives!

Product exactly as described. Fixed my furnace rebooting problem immediately, after trying to clean the 4 year old flame sensor with no luck. They are about half the price when purchased in bulk, so I ordered 10 more for $4 each and will simply change them every fall when I turn it on. Takes 2 minutes, max with one screw and a plug. Not worth the time to clean at that price.
