We have been buying these mugs for a about 25 years. They are very nicely made, durable and comfortable to hold. The clear transparent glass looks great, is easy to clean and does not stain from coffee/tea. Beverages stay hot.

It’s very difficult to find these shapes for glass cups. The handles very large for fingers to go through. It’s very thick and durable. It goes in the microwave. You could put cold and hot drinks in it. It’s excellent and it looks very, very nice.

I ask a lot of my mugs. I microwave them with cold coffee. I pour in boiling water. I'm not careful with them like some sensible folks here.And you know what? Most of the time they put up with my poor treatment just fine, like the good companions I expect my morning beverage mugs to be.But yeah, sometimes they break, when the temperature differences are too much.Still, in two years, I've lost two -- not bad by my reckoning.I'm giving them 4 of 5 stars because they are an excellent size, I like the weight, the handle is big enough to hold comfortably. I've grown to like this particular mug rather a lot. If someone can find a better-made mug with the same form factor, by all means leave us a link.Until then, I'm ordering more of them.Until then, these are great.

Exactly as pictured. Hold both hot and cold liquids. Probably would hold solids as well.
