Awesome belt for pants if you are the right size. If larger than 30" then this will be too short. Otherwise, what a deal, I love this simple clip, nice width-- not too wide, not too narrow-- great for travel or hiking or really I use it all the time for pants that need it.

I wanted to use this as a quick release belt, that would be the perfect length, and only needed to be snapped on and off, with no other adjustment necessary. First of all, you need to order at least 6 inches longer than your waist size. I ordered a 36" length and have a 32" waist. This only leaves a little more than an inch of excess. This leads into the real issue with this as a belt. The plastic adjustment mechanism doesn't grab/cinch the belt securely enough. It's OK when it is under tension, but when the buckle is unfastened, the buckle wants to just slide off of the strap. With only an inch of extra strap, it becomes more likely that the buckle will fall off. I am going to try it with a rubber-band around the straps behind the buckle. But that will need periodic replacement.

I use this belt for the Grey's Anatomy hospital scrub pants I wear. The pants themselves are great and have held up very well (was going to link them but they may have discontinued the model?) but the drawstring is of a different material and weakened over numerous washings, finally breaking. This belt is the answer. It is thin enough to go through the tiny belt loops and easy enough to remove that I only needed to purchase one. The product is doing exactly what I purchased it for.

I had a similar belt that came with my Columbia pants but I lost it. I needed a lightweight belt for backpacking that was cheap and easy to use. This works great I had no issues and it was under $10 bucks (I think I paid $7). The 1 inch width is great for all size belt loops and the length is really long ( over 40 inches). Plus if you need a strap for your pack with will do double duty in a pinch.

This works like it should. Decent price. I looked around for quite a while at the different offers online and after ordering one of each from a lot of places, I can say that these are one of my favorites and have ordered several more lengths and quantities since. I would recommend this to others looking for a good price and dependable product.

This is a badly designed product. A sternum strap should easily open with just one hand. This strap gets stuck and is VERY hard to open even with 2 hands - took us 10-15 seconds every time we tried (about 20 tries). This would be great if a secure strap was your requirement - but as a sternum strap, this is a badly designed product. It calls itself a "Quick Release Strap" - in reality it is anything but a quick release strap. If you use this on a backpack, you are going to struggle with the strap every single time. I returned this and got the Tinamou Sternum Strap, which is a great product.

It works great as a belt for loose hiking pants/shorts and for outdoor yard work. 1 inch is not too narrow or too wide. The 36 inch length gives me about 4 inches to spare on my 29 inch waist. I didn't have to cut anything off the belt. The loose end does slide out of the buckle, as one reviewer said, if it is loose. I use it as a belt and it is always somewhat tight so this is not a problem for me.

This is a good quality strap. I've bought a few of them in the past. I've used them for battery box straps. I've used them A LOT when backpacking. Their great for lashing gear to your pack or for tightly bundling rolled gear together. It uses a standard two piece side squeeze plastic clasp. Lock it then pull on the tensioning strap. Now your set for life. This really couldn't get any easier. Not much more to say about a length of nylon.
