I knew when I bought this that I'd be adding a few additional items to make it into a winter survival pack for in the car.While most of this equipment will work as is, some items though are pretty trash. The sparker/striker is too small to work well in my hand. Also the shovel is TINY. The blade of the shovel is smaller than my hand, so it won't really work for what I had hoped. So I threw in matches, a chargeable flashlight, and a collapsible snow shovel. The rest of the pack looks like it will work alright.

This is a great setup for the car or caravan etc although you might want to try on the scarf and beanie to make sure they fit... I was caught out once and got them out and they are super small. Maybe I just have a big head though... hehe

This kit is full of very cheap stuff, albeit stuff you may need in an emergency, but you'd be better off just building your own kit for the price they are charging for it. This kit is really handy for the convenience of not having to gather all the various emergency supply items, so if you're willing to pay for the convenience then it's worth it.

This was bought as a Christmas gift for my daughter going off to college. She loved gething it and has used it a couple of times already. She forgets it is there until a situation comes up but knows it's value is more than its cost. I plan on buying these for each of my children when they start driving.

I researched a lot of car kits to give to my husband & this was perfect. We live in Colorado, so a good "severe weather" kit was essential & this fit the bill. It doesn't take up too much room in his truck & I will be ordering one for my vehicle as well.
