Used this to replace a 30 year old liftmaster. Came with every way to open you could imagine including an app on my phone. Just had to remove the old one and put this back in its place and program it. It was an exact fit to my existing hardware. I even re-used the sensors from the old unit. No need to mount the new ones.

fit right into the same chain system and all of the accessories are now extras because everything from my older non wifi model works like a charm!

It was an easy replacement installation for me.I'm not a garage door mechanic but had minimal trouble getting the old unit out and this one in.Bought this as the replacement model for our original 15 year old LiftMaster.A bit of a trick to get the drive chain re-tensioned without a helper but got it done.30 minutes later I was setting the door limits and it was all good to go.

Good machine, works well and is easy to install. LiftMaster is a good company to deal with. I've had this model for three years without any problems.

This item is no longer available for sale. This particular model has been replace with the MYQ models which are not compatible with old garage door systems. If you order this item you will NOT get liftmaster 3265 you will get an 8365. Its possible this new 8365 is great, but I needed the 3265 so that my other two garage doors and remotes and wall buttons will continue to work. This items hould state that the 8365 is the 3265 replacement with NEW technology ....
