I have a toddler and a timer switch in their bedroom so naturally I needed something to cover it without being too easy to open. This is absolutely perfect! It uses 3M adhesive and it fits a flat switch just right. I couldn’t find anything remotely better on Amazon so if you’re in my position, look no further!

I am using these for closets that have smart door sensors and smart bulbs, so someone doesn't accidently turn off the bulb. These covers are made of high quality plastic and the 3M adhesive is very strong. While the sliding covers unfasten easily, they do not slide as smoothly as I wanted.I carefully removed the two sliding covers, then used a cone-shaped foam swab to apply PTFE (Teflon) lubricant that goes on wet then dries so it will not collect dust.A regular cotton swab would probable work, but you be mindful of tiny cotton strings.

This switch guard, as simple as it is, does it’s job very well. It’s peel and stick and stays secure. It’s been installed a month already and is still solid. I recommend be VERY sure where you put it, it will be difficult to remove.I’m not sure what the “fins” are for, but they cover the decora style switches with room to spare. To access the switch, just slide the cover up or down.In the first pic, with the older toggle type switch, I put this over my new switch for 2 reasons: one to help prevent splashes from the sink sprayer (which might not be necessary), but I also used it to distinguish which is the light and which is the sink disposal (toggle).

Easy to install but just pulls off, never adheres

We just purchased a new home, and the previous owner must have had a fascination with light switches because they have them for EVERYTHING. The downside is that some of them are attached to Security Camera / Floodlight combos that monitor the outside of my home. If someone switches them off, the cameras turn off and I have the floodlights on a timer. These took 60 seconds to install with a powered screwdriver. It couldn't be easier and now family & company know not to use those light switches.
