It works but has a few issues. Better than a lot of the alternatives that cost way more.It does work just make sure the back dust port is supported, bolted down or held up and kept stable. Otherwise, your powerful 4inch dust collector will just twist the port from the power....rendering it useless under power. If you stabilize it, will work just fine.The supports are "ok" but really the design is meant to fit any miter saw. Sliding miter saws are notoriously huge though. It fits my cheaper HF one.If you have better support for the back port and the side supports, this would be a lot better.

Works great. Provides light to cutting area which helps improve cutting accuracy, and contains dust improving work area cleanliness and air quality. I connect my 4” dust collector to it while making cuts. Saves me time and effort while improving air quality. Everything I expected from this purchase!!

The dust collector just sucks the fabric into the outlet and closes it off immediately. Then what’s the point? YMMV

It will do a lot to combat the dust explosion I get when I use my miter saw. Installation was straightforward. I have my saw mounted on a wooden bench, so I just bolted it to the bench. The light feels a little…. Gimmicky. I had to twist it so that the light was actually pointing toward my work. Out of the bag it was pointed more toward the ceiling. I hope it will stay facing the correct way. The material seems fairly stout. A concern for me is the dust connection mount. I’m concerned that the weight of my dust collection hose will, over time, pull that apart from the material off the dust shroud. So far it works well.

The power miter saw is always a challenge to catch the dust from. This makes it super easy to collect the majority of the dust created by a power miter saw and they added lighting. Just makes it a pleasure to use would definitely purchase again.
