I needed some LED connectors to finish out some cabinet lights. These connectors have a little hinge that opens and clamps down on your strip lights' contact point. As others have said in their reviews, it's a bit hit-or-miss how well of a connection they make--it depends on your lights and the ribbon they are on, plus other variable factors. These are much simpler than soldering, and allow for branching or "legs" of light that share a powersource--for example, chaining shelving lights to a single power supply.

I had soldered my lights together and enclosed them in a protective cover. Unfortunately, the solder joint failed. This repaired the issue, but the repair fitting is slightly wider than the original, making it a tight fit within the protective sleeve and cover. The discrepancy is minimal and barely noticeable

It's odd that the description calls these out as 3-pin connectors—and they are—but all the pictures are for 4-pin cabling, with distinct pins for {RGB} + GND. The "Perfect Partner" page shows a green checkbox next to a 3-pin connector on the left and what's obviously a single-color chipless strip that has only two pins. That can't be "perfect." Below that is the red X and text of "Single Color COB," but that strip clearly has power + data, so it's likely to be an addressable—and therefore, likely multicolor—strip. Their picture below that showing the right angle can be seen mounting a strip labeled RGB, so it would also have four pins.My experience trying these on a variety of BTF, Pautix, and random generic strips was as spotty as their photo session. There were some 10mm, 3-pin strips where it docked OK after some initial fidgeting, and some where the pins just didn't line up. The wire side really only worked well for one specific type of wire that I tried, and even then, only when the wires were tinned. If I have to tin the wires AND fiddle with the other side, it's best to just solder the whole thing and omit these clips.LightingWill LED Connectors 3Pin 10mm, 10 PCS Strip to Wire Connector $7.99I will say, however, that in exposed (not in channel), they do add some cosmetic value by keeping dangling electrical wires behind a plastic facade that hides the junction between raw wiring and the strip itself.

I used these two do some runs of led strip lights using a raised bump of COB leds that have connections on both sides (2 pin). They worked well and I didn’t have any issues with installation or even maintaining a connection while installing and moving things around.

Almost impossible to get a connection. Ruined 5 if my legs trying to get them to work. If ur lucky and it does work, just wiggle it and the connection breaks...
