UNBREAKABLE ACRYLIC GLASSES
Each glass is made with the incredibly sturdy and BPA-free acrylic material. The acrylic plastic is crystal clear and looks just like glass, yet won’t shatter even if dropped outdoors.

Each glass is made from an acrylic plastic material that looks like glass but won't shatter or break like glass. They are made of a food-safe plastic material and are BPA Free. We recommend a hand wash gently without harsh abrasive detergents or scouring pads to keep them looking their best. The glasses are 6 3/4" tall, 5 3/16" in diameter at the top, 2 1/8" diameter at the base and hold 14 ounces.

Description said acrylic. Awfully lightweight for acrylic, much lighter than I expected; there is a seam that runs down the center of the glasses that sorta tells me it's just molded plastic and not acrylic. Says plastic in title and acrylic in material description. Yes acrylic is a type of plastic, but usually significantly harder, and more dense/heavier than typical plastic. For the money I seriously expected something more substantial. $40 for FOUR PLASTIC GLASSES is outrageous. I will say that they are pretty for plastic cups. Best thing I can say I suppose. We'll see how durable they are. Bought them for use on the patio around the pool. Description says shatterproof. We'll see as time will tell. If you don't mind spending $10each for a plastic glass, go for it. They are pretty.... think I said that.
