I would say that this is about the second or third review I ever left in about 10+ years of heavy prime use. This product let me greese the axel and joint fittings on my 1stgen tundra with ease. It was an actual moment of joy when I did the 1st fitting and realized that my years of struggles with broken needles and homemade tips was over. WELL DONE LINCOLN!

I needed to grease universal joints, with zerk fittings that were inaccessible due to them being too short. The Lincoln grease nozzle worked perfectly. It's fine point fit in the zerk hole, and greasing while pressing the nozzle into the zerk fitting did the job perfectly. You need to hold the nozzle in with one hand, while pumping with the other. If you have a large grease gun that requires two hands you will need a helper to hold the nozzle in the zerk. Seems like a well made product that will outlast me!

I installed a set of Rough Country ball joints on a Jeep Wrangler and they came with low profile grease fittings so I needed the correct adapter for my grease gun. After some searching I read people recommended this Lincoln 5803 needle nozzle and found it for a good price under $10 with next day delivery.Installation was simple, just screwed right onto the end of my grease gun hose. I got under the car and pressed the tip of this needle nozzle into the fitting, you can feel it pressing the little ball valve in, then had a friend pump the grease gun until grease was coming out the bottom of the boots. Make sure you can feel the tip of the nozzle pressing the ball valve in or else grease will just leak out the sides and not go into the fitting. When it's seated right no grease leaks out.Works perfectly. Seems well made and should last along time. I'm not sure what the difference is between all the other needle nozzles I came across but glad I got this one since it seems like the perfect nozzle for the low profile fittings I have.

All previously used grease needles broke first use. The Lincoln Grease Needle makes the job extremely easy and is tough. Makes a hard job so easy.

The Lincoln Lubrication 5803 Grease Needle Nozzle was a quality tool which worked perfectly for greasing the Carbyne Double U-Joint on my Ram truck and was so much better than any other tool marketed for this purpose. I am well pleased with the way it performed.

This was a hard review for me. The product received does not match the image on Amazon. The image shows there are threads on the needle portion that go into the larger hex base. What I received is not that but a permanently fitted piece. I needed to get past my initial aggravation to be fair.This product does work well, better than most others I have tried. I say most others because there are cases where having the adapter longer, with a wider base, etc make it work better in that specific situation. Many mention the use for this on ball joints and u-joints, but they are also used on pneumatic tools. Such tools can use either the flush mount zerk or simply have a grease plug that you can unscrew. This works well on both, the zerk being its intended use but its ability to provide a small and narrow stream of grease is also great for adding after the screw plug is removed.I find the quality of this to be better than the others I have. The tip appears to be hardened and comes to a more pointed point than some others. The tube is also thinner than many others. I attached an image with this item on the left with a competing item on the right. You can see the difference in both the shaft and the tip. Given how picky the fittings for these can be, look at the image and determine what you need and what will work best for you. If I needed to choose one and only one to get, this would likely be my pick.

Works on 3500 2014 Ram 4X4. The famous unknown and unseen Lubrication point on these vehicles requires this tool. The lube point is not a Zerk fitting and it is not in the U-joint itself. It is just behind the rear U-joint on the front driveshaft. The lube point is a tiny silver inward dimple or depression in the yoke that holds this u-joint-the rearward part. If you follow it you can see behind it the rubber boot where your grease ends up if properly injected in. It is difficult to find due to the new bracing for the stiffer improved frame system. There is a big cross brace going under the yoke and U-joint as it feeds into the transfer case but it is still accessible from just in front of it. Slightly jack the truck enough to allow the drives front wheel to spin-Jack stand the frame for safety. Get under there and slowly spin the front drive shaft until you find the grease "dimple" (it is small -half the size of a pencil erasure) and the are needs to be clean to see it. Once you find have this tool firmly threaded on to your grease gun flexible line -if alone you really need a pneumatic one (great one at northern tool). Spin the shat to where the grease dimple or port is at 3 o'clock (facing the passenger door. Awkwardly take the tool and bend the hose and line it up straight in it (there is even some curvature to the yoke carved out as a path). when you push the plastic tipped metal needle into the port it will only go about 1/16 of an inch and you will feel a slight click as it opens-That is all it is going to open. then pull the trigger and shoot the grease in. If you are straight in on the tip applying moderate pressure all the grease will go in and I can see the boot behind swell with each pump. If you get off angle or don't have the port clicked open with the pressure the grease will not go in and will just make a mess at the port. A grease needle any longer would not work. If I had to pump, hold the hose and needle while getting it aimed straight in I could not do it--BUT with the air powered grease gun I was able to do it successfully. By the way I have a pretty good dealership and I am using my free oil changes and I can tell they are not greasing this fitting so I am glad this tool works so well.
