They don’t feel like metal so they are plastic or some other material. Work nice for inline spinner baits.

Good quality and good way to separate yourself from everyone else using red. Wish they were available in a larger size they didn’t seem 5mm but they work well.

I've used Lindy metallic beads for years. Very consistent, but the metallic covering does wear off rather quickly. It's not from the fish catching, although they do help you catch fish, it's from the rubbing other beads in the line. Fortunately this wearing is between the beads and doesn't affect the reflection on the "body" of the bead. That being said, I recommend them.

I use these beads to make my own floating crawler harnesses and have no complaints. I prefer the silver metallic color to give the rig some "flash" to attract predatory fish such as pike, walleye, and smallmouth bass. I'll also catch bluegill, rock bass, crappie, suckers, and catfish on these rigs.Combine these beads with a couple of your preferred hooks, two Lindy Snell Floats, and a Colorado or Indiana blade to make crawler harnesses as good or better than any pre-made rig you can buy at the store. You'll save money while getting to choose the exact colors and components you want. Here's my recipe for making the perfect floating crawler harness.P-Line Floroclear 15lb line (three foot leader)Lindy Snell Floats - orange or yellow (use two floats per crawler harness or one for a minnow/leech rig)Lindy Beads - silver metallic - 4mm#2 or #3 Colorado or Indiana blade (orange, chartreuse, or silver)Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp octopus hooks (#6 bottom hook, #4 top hook)I mostly fish in rivers with lots of current, rocks, and snags, so I lean toward more rugged line. You can downgrade to a lighter line if you fish more tranquil waters. I recommend the Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp hooks because they're fairly cheap and easy to find (plus they catch fish just fine), but if you want to get fancy you can upgrade to Gamakatsu octopus hooks in the same sizes.Good luck and happy fishing.
