Lindy Drift Control

Anglers facing windy conditions have always struggled with boat control. Not only is it difficult to stay on fish-holding structure in the wind it is also very tough to consistently present their live bait and Lures to fish. With the aid of Lindy drift control products this becomes not only possible but easy. For years’ anglers connected their own methods of dealing with the wind and waves. Many tied 5 gallon buckets to their cleats to create drag; others added as much as 500 pounds of sand on the inside of the boat to hold it down in the waves. Sandbags help to reduce bouncing, but they cause sore backs and greatly reduce speed and acceleration in better conditions. The biggest problem with these methods is their lack of convenience. The folks at Lindy Drift Control set out to create a product that solved all the problems. the result was a drift sock that does much more than that.

Lindy Drift Control Drift Socks

Magnum Series

The Lindy Drift Control Magnum Series was created with Rip-Stop nylon fabric, a material known for its incredible strength and lightweight. These drift socks are designed for boat control in extreme conditions and are as tough as the anglers who use them.

Fisherman Series

The reinforced nylon material on Fisherman Series Drift Sock is coated for durability and water resistance and resist fraying from normal use. This material also holds up in shallow-water conditions. (Small to Larger Fisherman Series).

Original

The Original Series comes with a 1 inch nylon strap for added support and strength, and provide more drag than other drift socks of the same diameter.

Wave Tamer

The Lindy Wave Tamer has a spring open design with built in flotation. Use to stabilize and position your boat, tough enough for trolling.

Try a Lindy Drift Control Drift Sock one time it will become one of the most beneficial, hassle-free tools to put more fish in the boat, even when conditions hamper other anglers.

The pieces that make up this rig are not of the best quality. The line is very cheap and twist up badly. The float, hook, and weight are ok, but I will not buy again.

Just wish there was 15 per package for the price. Berkley sells them for the same price but with 15 instead of 8 in the package. I needed a variety of color.

Smaller than I thought but they should work fine. The pictures show Pompano rigs I made with 30lb Mono and a 2/0 circle hook. You only get 9 to a pack so these are a bit pricey, I couldn't find them locally so I had to cough up the cash lol. Overall happy with the quality. They are very hard and seem like they will hold up well.

I make my own floating crawler harnesses, and these are the best floats out there. They are the perfect size, very durable, and the color does not fade. I've used similar floats by Berkley and even floats sold by a major outdoor outfitter that starts with "C," and I deem these Lindy floats to be the best available. They're worth paying a little extra for because they hold up better in tough conditions (I do mostly river fishing).Recommendation: use two floats for a double-hook crawler rig. This provides just the right amount of buoyancy to keep the crawler off the bottom. Use one float for a single-hook floating minnow or leech rig.
