Great wrench for such a large filter housing collar. This thing is thick!! Touches a lot of surface area on the collar so it won’t strip off the collar nibs. Not flimsy at all. Will last a long time I’m sure.

Exactly as described. Nice and easy to grip, even when covered in diesel with rubber gloves on. It’s thicker material than I expected and fits the Cummins cartridge filter bowl nice and tight.

Very highly satisfied.Competitors’ standard design (enclosed circle) are 1/8” thick. This is 3/16” thick (50% thicker), designed in a way that is robust while still nimble in tight engine bays. Steel is of higher quality than the usual Davco housing wrenches, not easily deformed in spite of the weight I can put on it, and the handle is thicker, too, not the thin dip of plastic on other brands. I’ve bent the standard ones trying to get a collar ring off, but this one doesn’t flex at all. Lisle has a special place of respect in my tool chest - quality matching the tool truck names at better prices.I would buy again, if my 200+ pounds ever breaks this one. Even though I only rarely need a 5” or 8” Davco wrench, I will be purchasing the other size Lisle wrenches soon.
