These foot warmers must have time to warm up before you put them in your shoes. Allow at least 15 minutes. I was in minus 10 degree weather in Alaska and standing on ice. I couldn't tell much difference with them, but some. When I was in milder weather like single digits, I could definitely feel more warmth. For diabetics I'd say they're an absolute must have. I also found they work great to stick to your back for extra warmth.

These are a game changer for cold morning walks with some issues. They definitely are warm on my feet and help. However, The bottom is a slippery plastic so if you walk fast they start to move around in your sneaker. They need some sort of adhesive to keep them in place. Other than that they are great!!!

Does not get warm enough to keep feet warm. Gave a pair to a hunting buddy and both out feet got cold hunting in South East Alabama during a cold snap. I went back to the hot hands brand, they definitely keep you warm

We have had several days this winter so far when we had to deal with subzero temperatures with the leaking of the Northern Vortex air from the Arctic. Unfortunately, even when school and work are closed in a blizzard, we still have farm animals we have to take care of, and if people need to get in the driveway we need to shovel or plow, and I also help my elderly parents so may need to leave to take care of them. I've already used these foot warmers twice when I needed to be warm for a while. I activated them, put them in my tall winter boots, and wore them when working for an hour taking care of the animals - feeding, gathering eggs, cleaning their stalls and coop. Then I also on a second occasion was outside for about an hour and half shoveling the walkways and plowing the driveways. And in both cases, they kept my feet very warm the entire time. These are great to have around for emergencies, like the times when our power has gone out during storms. Our heat is gas, but electric start, so if the power goes out we have no heat. If it were extremely cold, a source of heat that only needs air to activate can be valuable to have at home or in your car if it breaks down. So I'm very happy with these foot warmers so far, I have had no problems activating them, and they work how they should.

I bought these in preparation for my son's football game...it was about 32 degrees that night. I opened them about 30min before heading outside. This did nothing to keep our feet warm. He had cleats on and I had UGG boots on with double socks. I actually put this on my barefoot which it says is not recommended because these can get over 100 degrees. This was not the case at all; By the second quarter of the game my feet felt like ice blocks. I had these warmers as well as HOTHANDS to keep my hands and body warm. This is definitely an inferior product as it did nothing it advertised to do. I'm sorry that I wasted money purchasing.I definitely...do NOT recommend.

I wrote a negative review because I used two and they did not work. I sent a message to the company and they immediately replaced them. The new ones work great. Thank you
