I installed 600 feet of chain link fence. This bar made easy work of stretching the fencing with the addition of a come along. It pulls the fence evenly and made it quite easy to attach the fencing to the posts. This item is priced lower than what was available at the big box home store and is a must for anyone installing chain link fence.Very happy with the durability and quality of this item.~Cheers

I bought this fence stretcher for a DIY project in my backyard, and I was really impressed with how well it worked. I needed to tighten up some chain link fencing around my garden, and this tool made it a breeze. What I liked:• Strong and sturdy: It felt really solid and easily handled the tension needed for the chain link.• Versatile: The different hooks meant I could adjust it to fit my fence perfectly.• Easy to use: Even though I've never used a fence stretcher before, it was very simple to figure out.Potential Cons:• Price: It's a bit more expensive than some of the simpler stretchers, but the quality is worth it.Overall:If you're looking for a reliable and easy-to-use fence stretcher for any type of fencing project, I'd definitely recommend this one. Don't be put off by the "livestock" label – it's much more versatile than that!

I do like that it has two spaced out chain points to stabilize the force of pulling the fence. Can it work on 2x4 welded wire...yes it can if you are careful to keep in mind not to overtighten and stretch teh fence. Use it to pull teh fence evenly and it will work.Livestock fence, it pulls nicely and evenly with a come along without issue.I have another fence stretcher and it is lighter weight and the welds do not look as finished as this one is.
