I got this because my dog is having TPLO surgery, and we live in a two story house. We will need to support him when going up and down so this item will be coming in handy. He aint a big fan of it, but it'll only be needed for a few weeks. Material wise the sling is well constructed and the fabric is quality.

This sling Is made of sturdy fabric and webbing and is well constructed. The part that goes under the animal's belly is 14" wide, so this will fit older small animals and calves, but not babies.I have never found the thinner straps that go around the animal's chest and hind end to be very useful. Most of the time once you first put the sling on they are trying to get away, so fastening those extra straps is nearly impossible. Better to just hoist the animal up and read your hanging scale quickly.I recommend this sling.
