I bought this for my Netherland dwarfs which is a very small breed for bunnies. It’s too small. This would be amazing for a ferret or maybe a Guinea pig but definitely trading it in for the large size. The quality is amazingly good. The spring in it is strong and not easy to bend. The material is a good fabric and easy to wipe off from what I see. I didn’t use it because as soon as I saw the size right next to my bunny on the floor then I just knew I had to exchange it. But a great tunnel and if you have those little pop up houses or tents to go with it then you’ll be happy to make a play house for them. Too small for cats unless you have kittens and this is a temporary tunnel.

If you have bunnies, it’s worth it. Mine have chewed through the velcro and fabric ties on it but it works. It’s fun. I’m sure it would be a fun toy for any small pet. This is just one tube but you’re able to attach others with the velcro. You can fold it back up and tie it so it stores away nicely too. I’ve had no messes on it yet so I can’t say how easy or hard it would be too clean. It’s nylon material so I’d say it’s fairly easy.

My guinea pigs really love this tunnel. So much popcorning and zoomies after I got this! It is large enough for even my fattest (1500g) boy to easily run through. It is made out of a tent-like material with wires to keep shape. So far my pigs have tried eating it, standing on it, etc and it's held up fine and kept its shape. I haven't had to do a lot of cleaning on it yet since my boys mostly just run through it, but the material seems like it'd be easy enough to spot/hand clean (I don't think it is washer friendly due to length and wires). I also like that that the tunnel can be folded up for easier storage. There is velcro on the outside that I think can be used to attach other tunnels/hideouts, but I have actually been using it to help keep the tunnel from rolling/moving a lot by sticking it to the fabric mats I have for my pigs to play on. Photos are of my smallest (~1000g) pig using the tunnel.

Our guinea pigs like it. We've given it to them a few times and they haven't gone "crazy" over it yet, but they do like running through it. You can bend it in a U-shape so it takes up less space, but I wouldn't trust the built-in velcro to hold it in that shape (I would instead use one of those black clips to hold it in a U-shape). The velco would likely work well enough if you wanted to hold together and connect multiple tubes, but we haven't done that yet.If you're a guinea pig owner, I'm sure you know that these poop machines love to poop everywhere. And this tube is no different. Expect atleast 10 poops/pig if you let them play in this for any amount of time. The good news is they slide right out and cleaning the tube is pretty easy.In terms of the size, it's more than long enough but also compresses really nicely so it doesn't take up too much space. The opening is just right for our adult female guinea pigs. It might be a bit tight if you have a large guinea pig.

The person who gave this item a single star and maintained it was "too short" obviously did not receive the same tunnel as I. Mine was the pictured red tunnel with a guinea pig shown in the opening. It arrived in a lightweight, flat, innocuous-looking package. When I opened it, I practically had an attack. In a split second, the thing "magically" uncoiled to a length considerably beyond my expectations (easily 4 feet). I tried fitting it in my guinea pig's cage every which way and was about to give up on the idea. Then it occurred to me that the flexibility of the tube might facilitate use of it in a "roundabout," or semis-circular, way--just by removing everything else in the cage, then simply placing the tube on the floor of the cage and allowing it to curve around corners.Sparky was initially unimpressed, limiting his activity to occupying the south entrance to the tube, stubbornly refusing to go in deeper. .But after a couple of nights he was navigating the course--entering at either end or the middle, and going from one hallway to the next. Right now a highlight of my day is approaching the cage each morning and trying to guess which part of the tube is harboring Sparky (his "wheek-ing" rarely gives away his position -- guinea pigs are some of the best "voice throwers" I've ever known).I've had the tunnel for less than a week, and I'll be surprised if it lasts one full month. But these guys become pretty bored and lethargic if you don't change things up on them--especially if you're boarding them as a single. If this toy keeps Sparky entertained for another week, I'll feel that I got my money's worth (a month's supply of paper bedding costs upwards of $30.[Surprise! This thing survived its first trip to the washing machine, emerging in flying colors (or at least red). It now looks and smells good as new. Guinea Pigs are not the brightest when it comes to controlling or aiming their BM deposits. It didn't seem to matter to Sparky that his bright red tunnel was serving as both an elongated bachelor's pad and an extra-convenient "poop tube." All the more reason to take this for a monthly spin in your Whirlpool (just make sure the guinea pig has been removed before pressing the START button).
