This makes you use your legs to get the machine pumping and you will get your heart pumping. The arm straps could be better. They are very long and can't be adjusted so it doesn't do anything for me. The steps can also seem to be a little harder to move.

It works fine. I like the resistance bands with hanflea, they help you feel more stable even if you aren't doing arm exercises.The stepper itself isn't very configurable, you can only set the range, not the tension. And there's really only one range setting that works well, IMO. On the lower settings, the pedals strike the base and it's noisy.In general it is pretty noisy for a manual device. It squeaks.Also, the mechanisms get hot really fast. You should only use the device for like 20 minutes.One time the cable came loose and I had to reset it.Overall it's OK but it's not very robust.

This little stepper could have been much better if the cheap LR44 battery had been included. Ten of them cost under $4 at Walmart. This stepper did include cables to work your arms while some of them don't include them. This made it a bit better. It can be tightened by adjusting the large knob in the front. I have problems with my ears and my balance is off right now, so I have not used this much. It looks like it will be beneficial because let's face it, anytime you move as opposed to doing nothing, it benefits your body. If you can't do more, just use the stepper while sitting and watching television. Keep your body moving. I say this to myself as I have been sedentary recently due to family health problems. Hopefully small steps will help get me in the right direction.

This Lixada Stair Stepper is ideal for small spaces. It comes fully assembled, just hook the handles on to work the arms. The battery isn't included, and I had to locate on the website what type is needed since it's not in the directions; but, otherwise this is exactly as described: solid steel, easy to use, and it takes up minimal space. I haven't tried the LCD monitor yet, but otherwise I tried it out and it runs smoothly. Ideal for when you're watching TV or listening to music. I'd recommend this as it works just as described!

General setup of this is pretty straightforward, but the battery for the LCD is not included and it's unclear how to remove the display so that you can install the battery. I finally found a pair of pliers large enough to grasp the display and wiggle it out of the pipe that's holding it. It's a hard plastic and it's just in there by tension, it's not screwed in. If I had an LR44 battery I'd be able to install it and test the display.I found I needed to crank the steps up pretty high so that it would not bottom out while I was using it. It's quieter and more compact than something like a treadmill, making it a good way to get in some steps while participating in a meeting that you don't have to present, for example. It's easy to store. I haven't quite figured out how to use the elastic bands with the stepping, but I'm also currently restricted to the use of one arm.

The instructions are incomplete. For this to supposedly a simple machine to work, it is not that at all. The display screen doesn’t work. The pedals don’t move like they should. There isn’t any real help on how to work something that is supposed to be simple. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!

This works well, and its compact size makes it pretty handy to store when not in use. The motion is a little different, your heels go up and down while the front of your foot stays at more or less the same height. It may work different muscle groups than regular stair machines, but that is OK. It should help with range of motion for calf muscles, something I tend to have some minor issues with. The counter works well and is easy to use. One complaint there though, it came without a battery, but fortunately it uses a common size and I had spares around. In all fairness, the video says you need to supply your own. However, that wasn't mentioned in the instruction booklet that came with it.I haven't really used the resistance bands yet, they do clip neatly to the stepper. Step height adjustment is easy, just turn a knob.It comes with some lubricant, so after a while you may need to dab some on to keep things working smoothly, I haven't used it enough to get to that point.
