Evev though very compact, holds my YAS-21 well. Pretty stable. Definitely won't handle a tenor saxophone.

Works well, folds small enough to fit inside case.You have to screw in the short leg to secure it after unfolding it, that locks it all in place

I bought this as a stand for my alto. I love how compact yet sturdy it is. This stand is lightweight and has a small footprint, making it very handy if you play multiple instruments and are lugging around multiple stands.To be clear, this stand is designed for ALTO saxophone, the same way soprano stands are for soprano and baritone stands are for baritone. This will NOT work with a tenor. I tried so you don’t have to.

I like the way it fits in the bell of the alto sax and takes up zero space in the case. Once it is together, it is stable. I use it to let the horn dry before I put it back in the case- works great on my desk or on the floor. One thing to be clear on though, it is NOT long enough to be used for a tenor. It's only for an alto.

It Is Too Low To The Floor For My Tenor Sax To Sit Up Properly!

The description says for alto and tenor sax. I ordered it for my tenor, but it is much too small and there is no way to adjust it. It holds my alto fairly well, but it did fall over once while i was at home practicing. It is a decent design for a compact sax stand, but not what I wanted. I'll keep it for my alto only because it is a little better than the one I already have. Still very dissappointed that it does not fit my tenor sax and it is not adjustable.
