If you need a good assortment of locking pliers then I would recommend this one. It has a nice variety of clamps, they seem well made, the grips are nice and comfortable in the hand, and it has a nice roll up carrying case. They work just like most other vise grips. Seems like a great deal, too.

All of them worked just fine. Adjustment screws all work, clamping force seems strong, build quality, jaws, everything is good. Going to keep a few around the shop and a few in the jeep for emergency use. The plastic coated handles are nice for when trying to clamp TIGHT or inversely when trying to unclamp.Might not last forever, time will tell, but getting 6 for $24 is not bad at all in my book.

This is a perfect set to have around the house for home use or light to medium duty garage use. They clamp very nice, and having a set make them convenient for multiple purposes. Also the nose of these pliers match nicely so they can grip from the very tip. The smaller ones tend to get out of alignment if you put any side torque on them but that is to be expected for what you are getting. Again, not the highest quality but certainly good enough for average use. I hope this was helpful.

Locking pliers are usually my last choice tool.A socket or a wrench is the preferred tool.If you need a locking pliers, these may work for you.They are slightly smaller than expected. They do not have the hex fastener to tighten them to make them extra snug.They also have a roll up pouch. I have never had the use for a roll up pouch. I would prefer a foam tray that fits into a tool box.Overall, these are good to have around,

I am general!y not a buyer of cheap tools. I've got some high quality tools that were once my dad's. Still though, this very inexpensive set of vice grip knock offs has a lot of utility. If you have a couple of cars for which you need some versatile "value" quality tools for car tool kit, or a small tool kit for a kid in college, this set will cover most wrench, pliers, clamp needs.Testing them out, the jaws align a bit looser than name brand ones. Also typically these will see the jaw serations round off due to lower harness steel when used for anything heavy duty. But one has to take value/cost into account. Value: good.

I'm super impressed by the roll-up bag that these came with. It's got a super durable feel to it. It rolls up easily with all the tools inside and has buckles that easily buckle upon rolling it up. It's a great way to grab what you need, use it, roll it up, toss it into a bin and be on with it.The tools themselves are smaller than I was hoping. They aren't "full sized." They're just slightly smaller than I would expect from a full size set. They also don't have a real smooth action to them. They're good enough to get the job done, but I wouldn't expect them to last as long as, say, a craftsman set or anything like that. But I would definitely buy these if I were in a pinch.
