Had this case for many years, it did it's job well. My PSP was always protected when inside.

This case was perfect for my PSP Slim. It is very secure, portable, and overall it protects my PSP slim very well. I would have given this five stars except for the fact that the USB slot and SD slot are covered and you have to take it out of the case, which isn't really a big deal at all, but still, it's not perfect and that's what 5 stars is. I dropped my PSP slim while in this case from the back of an Army Humvee and it didn't have a scratch, I am pretty impressed.

Appearance: 4Construction: 5Usefulness: 4Extras: 5Well, it seems Logitech's production quality with electronics has been hit or miss recently, but fortunately this wonderful product is not electronic.A clear blister shell made of polycarbonate ensures your PSP 2000/3000 does not get scratched, and the black molded rubber inserts protect the delicate electronics of the PSP from shock. It has a very attractive look from the moment you open the package.The PSP is held very snugly in place by the rubber insert, requiring a firm pressure to place it in the case, so you have no worries about it falling out, even when you turn the case upside down with it open.The case is of solid, sturdy construction, allowing you to fully open the case and prop up the PSP in a viewing position. It is specifically made so that all the bottom ports as well as the shoulder button are accessible while the PSP is in the case so you can listen to your music with the case closed and play your games without removing it. You only need to remove the system to change UMD's or to access the WLAN switch and USB port.The back of the case has been molded for a more ergonomic grip so that playing the PSP while it is in the case is comfortable. This also allows the case to hold the PSP even with the Extended Battery Kit installed, which bulges the rear of the PSP, something most hard shell cases don't accommodate.One thing this case will allow you to do that many won't, is customize the case it self. The rubber inserts can be removed and the included template will let you cut an image out to place under the rubber insert, showing through the clear blister shell. This allows you to change how you customize the PSP when ever you want, as often as you want, without permanently marking the case.Overall, the sense of quality and effort exuded from this product is exemplary. With such an incredible product, one has to wonder why Logitech has stopped producing it with the PSP still selling well.

I'm new to psp and received the new slim one as a gift. needing a case i picked this one up~Its a pretty cool design (you can watch through the cover to avoid scratches onscreen) but the cover scratches easily. Also, the right side gets a little 'pointy' between your forefinger and thumb if you've been playing for awhile. A little rubber there would help.Overall it does its job but I don't think I would buy this again.

I spent a while researching psp cases and I came upon several people suggesting this logitech PlayGear pocket case so I decided to pick one up and I'm glad I did.First of all, you should note that this is a PSP system case only. This means that it does NOT have a slot for your UMDs, memory stick or anything else. This is not necessarily a bad thing, in fact if it did have that much more space then it would lose it's compact size and become much more bulky. But if you're looking for something that can hold your PSP and all it's accessories then this is not the case for you.The case has a great hard plastic shell that will protect your PSP from the normal drops and scratches that most PSPs have to endure. The inside plastic mold holds the psp slim perfectly in place and does not allow it to move or wiggle around at all while inside. You can even prop up your PSP while it is inside by opening and positioning the top part of the case behind it, which is a great little feature if you like to watch movies or videos on your PSP.One of the big draws to this particular case is that it has a space just beneath the clear outside shell so you can print out your own skin and insert it into the case to customize it to you're liking. Logitech even includes a plastic template with the case so you can cut a picture to the exact size of the space allowed in the case. If you don't feel like making your own skin you can just do a quick google search and you'll find plenty of skins that other people have made specifically for this case. Just print it and cut it out.The case leaves certain parts of the PSP uncovered, like the headphone jack, the shoulder buttons and the power switch(but not the usb port) which is great because it doesn't force you to take it out of the case to play or charge you're PSP.My only real complaint is that, while it is advertised to have a "play-in-case design", it is still very uncomfortable to play games on your PSP while it is in the case mostly because of the opening for the power switch.All in all, this is probably one of the best protective case's for the PSP slim and the skin customization is a brilliant and original idea which really puts this case way above the competition, but if you're looking a case that you can comfortably play your PSP in, then you should probably look elsewhere.
