Followed measurement and cut guidelines but speedometer jumped erratically 10 miles per hour from the very first day. Cable only lasted 100 miles or so and then failed completely. Lokar tech support told me I had cut it too long and would not help me in any manner. So I am pulling this $80 speedometer cable out and throwing it away and going back to the $20 cable. Ridiculous. Bad support from Lokar.

I bought new autometer gauges and speedo for my truck and old speedo cable was worn out and didn't hook up...this cable hooked up to the AutoMeter speedo and surprisingly hooked up to my automatic transmission...it's a 1978 Dodge D 100. It was a lifesaver!
