This little sand shovel is perfect for taking with us on our vacation. While we didn’t have a lot of opportunity to use it, it is very easy to put together and store in our suitcase. We did use it in a few times and of course didn’t find anything value, but it was fun to look for stuff and find some shells that we wouldn’t have found otherwise. We need to go to a beach that has looser sand most of the beaches that we went to recently are pretty hard packed. Overall, the quality of this is really nice and durable. We like that It comes with an expandable handle, you can either have just the shovel part or you can attach piece by piece to get a longer handle. We would definitely order this again and possibly will just have two whenever we are traveling. I would definitely recommend this just for something fun.

Overall this thing was perfect for sifting creek beds for fossils. It's pretty well constructed and stood up to me jamming it into the rocky surface of the creek. My two issues with it are that the metal edges are pretty coarse/sharp, so you'll want to be careful if you have young kids using it. The second is that the handle is held in with screws that require an Allen key which makes switching the handle to the rod next to impossible on-the-go. I would have liked to see them implement thumb screws instead. Other than that it did what it was supposed to do

These look like they should be sturdy enough, although we haven't been able to use them yet. They seem well made and have some heft to them. The handles on them are fairly comfortable for their use.

La detección es mi hobby, y aunque está muy limitada en España, todavía quedan algunas comunidades autónomas que lo permiten en la playa. Al principio, en la playa, utilizaba una pala de plástico, para que el detector no me marcase un falso positivo. Con el paso del tiempo, me di cuenta de que necesitaba una pala más rígida y fuerte y pasé a una de metal. Aunque la experiencia mejora, si esa pala no criba, el proceso es lento.Como me sigue apasionando este hobby (y aunque la mayoría de hallazgos son basura), me pasé a la pala pro que es esta. Esta pala tiene ventajas con respecto al resto. Lo primero, que no tienes que agacharte y soltar el detector cada vez que encuentras algo. Si no tienes que quitarte el equipo ni ponerte de rodillas, vas mucho más rápido. Además, criba la arena, por lo que los hallazgos se quedan dentro de la pala y con un simple movimiento de mano, cribas la arena.Yo la uso de la siguiente manera. Cuando el detector me da una señal, hinco la punta de la pala y presiono con el pie. Saco una paletada de arena y antes de variar la arena, compruebo con el detector que la zona de donde he sacado la pala ya no me pita. Si sigue pitando, tiro la arena de la pala y vuelvo a probar hincando otra vez la pala. Cuando ya en el agujero de la arena, el detector no pita, tengo el “tesoro en la pala”, por lo que muevo la pala y cribo la arena. La mayoría de las veces, toda la arena se va y me queda el tesoro y alguna pierda, pero si la arena está muy húmeda o no veo nada, tiro la arena al suelo y ya cojo el point pointer. De esta manera voy mucho más rápido y soy más efectivo.Lo que más me ha gustado es que esta pala se puede desmontar para su transporte y uso. El último mango está atornillado, y puede usarse como una pala de mano, pero tiene dos extensiones que se ponen a rosca y se quitan y se ponen con facilidad.Además, junto con la pala cribadora, viene una pequeña pala de mano puntiaguda, perfecta para hacer un agujero en la tierra más dura o compacta, ya que tiene punta. Es rígida, hecha de una pieza, ergonómica y ligera. Es un detalle que la hayan incluido en el pack.Esta pala es muy recomendable para arena de la playa seca, y también es efectiva con arena húmeda o mojada en la orilla por las olas. Mientras más piedras haya, más se dificulta su uso. No recomiendo su uso para tierra de campo, o un suelo en el que no esté la arena suelta como en la playa y esté el suelo muy compactado. Si la vas a comprar pensando en usarlo en el bosque, campo… esta no es tu pala, mejor busca una azada o pala de militar. Si es para playa, te acostumbrarás enseguida y verás como ahorras tiempo y te va a encantar.Es una pala ergonómica, no muy pesada, resistente y que cumple su función a la perfección.

Hallo liebe Community und Freunde des smarten Shoppings!Ich hatte das Vergnügen, ein Test_Muster zu erhalten und möchte meine ehrlichen Eindrücke mit euch teilen:Sandschaufel mit Langem Stiel, Metalldetektions-Sandschaufel mit Langem Stiel, Edelstahl-Strandsandschaufel mit Langem Stahlstiel, Ideal für die Unterwasser-SchatzsucheDie Schaufel inklusive Stiel kommt zerlegt geliefert und lässt sich mit dem beiliegenden Werkzeug in unter einer Minute zusammenbauen. Die Schaufel ist für einige Szenarien geeignet und sauber verarbeitet. Ich kann bisher keine negativen Kriterien ausmachen und muss den Hersteller an dieser Stelle auch mal loben, denn vor ca einem Jahr habe ich mir die Schaufel schon einmal gekauft und zu diesem Zeitpunkt waren die schweißnähte der Schaufel schlechter als ausreichend. Hier sieht man dass ich anscheinend in der Herstellung etwas getan hat, was sehr löblich ist. Von meiner Seite gibt es daher volle 5 Sterne und eine Kaufempfehlung oben drauf.5 Sterne - die Schaufel ist sauber verarbeitet und extrem langlebig.Wichtige Info für euch:Falls ihr eine spezielle Frage zum Artikel habt, könnt ihr ganz unkompliziert die Amazon-Kundenfrage-Funktion nutzen. Für eine fundierte Bewertung teste ich jedes erworbene Produkt mehrere Tage, bevor ich meine Meinung dazu äußere. Dabei bleibe ich immer ehrlich und unvoreingenommen – auch wenn ich ein Muster zur Verfügung gestellt bekomme.Ich bin kein Profi, sondern ein ganz normaler Alltagsnutzer, genau wie ihr. My Sister is an "expert" at finding sharks teeth and knows all the best spots near me. Even when you "find a good spot" the "best teeth" are still in the sand that is still "under water" and that is where this tool comes in!It works GREAT at the beach to scoop up sand from the bottom at the "wave break" without bringing up a ton of water and "fine sand" and "keeps" most of the "valuable" objects you want to find in the sand you scooped!It is made of stainless steel so not only is it "light weight" for its size, but it won't rust like a regular metal shovel/scoop from being in sea water. (EVERYTHING eventually will "rust" some at "the Beach", but this won't show any for a long time IMO. It is a good size for shark tooth, valuables or shell hunting IMO and if you want to use it as a "shovel" the scoop attaches easily to the handle.At the time of review this is available for under $39 which is a good value as some similar quality scoops themselves are this much and you do get a handle that turns in into a "shovel scoop" that makes it a 2 in 1 tool for one price IMO.

This long handle scoop is amazing it has saved my back so much when we go to the beach with the metal detectors, we use the scoop with the long handle it makes life so much easier and the little shovel it comes with it sturdy and will hold up to some strong ground. I am happy with this purchase both items are made of good quality steal

This sand scoop is awesome! It makes searching for little treasures in the sand so easy and fun. Whether you’re digging in wet or dry sand, it works like a charm. I love going about ankle-deep into the water and scooping up a big load of sand—there are almost always shells to sift through, and I can easily toss back what I don’t want.One of my favorite features is the versatility of the handle. It comes in 3 pieces and can be of varying lengths. You can use it short for scooping on the beach, or attach the long handle when you’re in the water. The long handle is a game changer—it keeps me from having to bend over and get my upper body wet while scooping. The scoop itself is sturdy metal and feels very durable.As a nice bonus, they include a small shovel, which comes in handy if you need to dig something out or pry a bigger shell from the sand. Cette pelle à sable semblait être la solution parfaite pour mes sessions de détection de métaux sur la plage. Son design en acier inoxydable et sa longue poignée promettaient une utilisation pratique et efficace. J'avais besoin d'un outil solide et facile à manipuler pour tamiser rapidement le sable et récupérer mes trouvailles sans trop d'effort.🛠️ La fabrication en acier inoxydable est un vrai plus. Même après plusieurs utilisations dans un environnement humide et salin, elle ne montre aucun signe de rouille ou d'usure prématurée. Sa conception robuste inspire confiance pour une utilisation durable.🔧 Le manche amovible est un atout indéniable. Il se démonte en plusieurs parties, ce qui facilite le transport et le rangement. Handy little sand scooper to have when you are metal detecting on the beach. It has a long handle that, even for me at 6'4", does not force me to have to bend down to use it. That handle is segmented so that you can use 1, 2, or 3 sections depending on the length you need or remove the long handle and use it as a handheld unit. the welds look good on it but you can see the marks where they grind them down. No big seal though because this is made to dig through sand and dirt, so scratches are inevitable anyway.I took off one star for two reasons, First, the way the handle attaches to the scoop is by sliding in a bracket and then screwing in two screws. I have a feeling those will not stay tight and would be prone to falling out, so I used thread locker on them. Second, the way the long handle attaches is by two bolts that go through it and the handle unit. Again, the nut supplied is not self-locking and will be prone to coming loose. Also, where the long handle slides into place is a very loose fit. That leaves the scoop rattling around. To prevent this, I over-tightened the Allen head bolts to deform the socket that the handle fits in to snug everything up. This shouldn't cause a problem unless I want to switch to a different long handle; something I have zero intention of doing.

I love to look for sea shells and I have used several different scoops. This one is very versatile with the different lengths of the handle. It seems to be sturdy and rust resistant. The extra little shovel is nice for setting up the beach tent and digging in dry sand. Assembly is easy. The current price of $39 is very good.
