They allow fisherman to make quick changes on the water, keeping all their favorites at their fingertips.

I'll repeat one of the Troutbitten mantras: "If it isn't easy, you won't do it." The idea to use Loon rigging foams for fly fishing is not mine. I got the idea from the Troutbitten website. For a more in depth discussion, please go to their website. I will add that it works as described and these simple pieces of foam have made me a more versatile angler. Previously I would stick with a tactic or approach long after it was obvious that the fish changed their preference for what they were eating. I didn't want to take the time to re-rig. The answer is to PRE-rig. I can now quickly change from fishing nymphs to streamers to dry flies by using the rigging foams. It's easy now, so I do it.

Very well made and high density foam. These are a little pricey but Loon is a responsible brand to support. Some things I do not accept substitutes for.

I build my own leaders for tight lining, and at the end of my sighter is a tippet ring that I tie a single diameter of tippet to. The tippets are made up ahead of time with various nymphs. Loon rigging foam lets me carry these easily, allowing me to change tippets when needed.

I use a lot of tandem rigs, and a lot more now that I can tie them the night before. Huge time and headache-saver. Yes, they are just round blocks of foam, but I consider them one of the most useful things I carry on my pack.

Why waste time on the river rigging, when you could be fishing. These are an awesome addition to my tippet spool and keep an array of nymphs, dropper rigs, etc ready to go. Ordered more after using them and have referred them to sever others with the same rave review.

This is a GOOD product. Well made and just pain simple. The best part about it is that it fits right on your tippet holder of choice. You could rig up 2 rigs per rigging foam but I find it to be quicker on the water if you only put one rig per rigging foam.
