Works for sealing the heads of your flies using a UV light (bought separately) but dang it sure is expensive for 1/2 oz bottle.

Should have been using this product years ago. Applicator gets in those tiny spots, instant dry with uv light. Long lasting without hardening. I'll probably never use head cement again now that I have been using Loon Outdoors UV Clear Fly Finish Curing Solution

Loon's UV finish cures, leaving a shiny coat, in a few seconds. The midge patterns in the photo were overcoated with Loon's UV Finish. I prefer a light-curing resin as it dries more quickly than lacquer. For fly tyers who haven't tried a light-curing resin, it is applied to the surface of the fly and dried with a UV light made for this purpose. I bought an earlier version of this product and it left an annoying residue. This product dries quickly with no residue.A small bottle of this lasts a very long time on my fly-tying bench.

It Cures hard. Some of the cheaper products leave a film on the surface that picks up dirt. Not the Loon resin and it comes with multiple tips and a brush. I will buy it again

I have used this product for several projects. It works well in many applications, from woodworking to electronics. I even use it for household repair. It is always good to know a product's limitations. This one is no exception. In order to set, the material must have a path for UV light to get to the adhesive. Thus if the application is inside an opaque object, choose a different glue.

It covers and protects the stick-on eyes I use on flies I tied for Snook on the beach. Very durable. After using the UV light, a little Sally Hansen Hard as Nails or other clear cement takes away a slight tackiness.

Love this stuff. Able to apply, adjust, then solidify in seconds with a UV light. Even works through clear skulls. Seems to be lasting a long time as well. Will be keeping this handy for flies all the time.

I got this for a Christmas present and it is awesome! So many different applicator tips. The consistency is perfect for very small midges or dry flies when used on the thread before a whip finish. It dries very hard but totally clear and very quickly. A little goes a long way. This makes scud patterns pop!
