These are so cute! I gave them as gifts to friends- they were tickled with them!! Aren’t as sturdy as some I have seen but awesome for the price!!

I like Matryoshkas and started collecting them. These are lovely the only thing is that I bought 2 sets and I expected different models and I got 2 sets of the same models. So I will have to use 3 as gifts instead of keeping them all.

I expected all dolls to be painted but the smallest ones did not even have a face crafted/painted.

I knew I was taking a chance with these. I rolled the dice and lost.1 of the sets is really pretty good - the one that has the strawberries. It's well painted, except for the 3rd doll in the set which has some wonky eyes, but overall a decent set considering the price. Opens and closes ok too.1 of the sets is poor to mediocre. The red and yellow flowered set pictured - the painting is pretty good, the eyes on the 4 smaller dolls could be better. The smallest doll looks terrible. Thing is though, this set is nearly impossible to open and close on all of the dolls.1 of the sets is terrible - the pink set pictured - even the biggest doll which looks ok in the photo isn't ok One of the eyes is bulging 3D style, as that eye has a lot of extra paint. I actually inspected it wondering if the flat eye should have had a bead or something since it was flat and the other wasn't The eyes on the biggest one are not symmetrical at all either - different amounts of eyelashes and differently shaped on both sides. There's a smear shaped area on the face that is not painted, it's just that the wood approximates the skin color so it seems ok in the photo. The eyes on the 4 smaller dolls are terrible. And the lips on the smallest 2 look like a toddler put lipstick on. This set also has sparkle paint, which I don't mind, but none of them are lacquered like the other 2 sets. The one redeeming quality on this set is that opens and closes well.

I had read about some of the dolls sticking and a couple of them did, but they were easy to unstick. I have left them out to "air" a little bit since they smell of lacquer because they are a X-mas gift for the granddaughter. Went ahead and bought another set for the 2nd granddaughter since they seem to be good quality. Would not buy for little kids unless they have gotten out of that put everything in their mouth stage because they do have very small pieces.

Ordered 18 sets of 4 for a wedding. To be honest, I assumed they would look cheap or tacky since they were so affordable (it was a shot in the dark idea for almost-last-minute table decorations). They were a huge hit. They’re beautiful and barely any two were the same. I was expecting to be left with 64 matryoshka dolls to flip when the wedding was over, but every guest took home the one at their place setting. People were complimenting them all evening. I could not be more pleased with how they turned out.

I am completely satisfied with the items & service. I was hesitant to order because there were no reviews, the products were coming from Russia and you were shown a picture of various dolls, but not the exact ones you would receive (I was hoping to get 3 different dolls). I looked at many other possible dolls at Amazon and kept leaning towards getting these even with my hesitations. I crossed my fingers and placed the order. The item arrived one week past the estimated delivery date (it was only an estimate); however, this was a non-issue for me so I still gave 5 stars. The items were packaged in a small box that was easy to squeeze together on one side, so I was concerned about the delicate wooden dolls inside. I promptly opened the box to find them all in perfect shape.WHEW! A little packing material might have helped keep the shape of the box and protect the contents; however, my items were perfect. There was a little note on the inside stating "If there is any kind of problem with your order, please send us a message and we will solve it". I did not have to take them up on the offer since my items were all accounted for and in perfect shape. I mention it in case it gives you peace of mind ordering from somewhere in Russia. The email address on the note for you to contact if there is an issue with your order is: bijouxandes@gmail.com. Now, about the dolls….they were all painted completely different and were beautiful! I would purchase from this seller again. I took pictures of the dolls and the note in hopes of uploading them for this review and I cannot figure out how to upload the pictures…UGH. If I figure it out after I post this review, I will still add the pictures. In the meantime, I will try to describe the dolls. One doll set was a red/black base color with a delicate lace collar and beautiful greenery/flowers in white, gold, red and green. Another doll was a blue/black base color with a delicate lace collar and beautiful greenery/flowers in white, gold, red and green (these two dolls are very similar; however the different base colors give them different looks. The third one was entirely different with a red base color and brightly painted flowers all over. The faces on all the dolls are beautiful. One of the reasons getting 3 dolls appealed to me is because I wanted to have a few on hand for quick birthday gifts.
