I love the compact size. I needed a arca swiss head for a lightweight compact monopod for a trip to Ireland/Wales. This will work great. I use a Nikon D850 with various lenses. And it worked well on a trip to Colorado it will be so convenient on any trip.

Needed a small ball head for a smaller travel tripod. This ball head worked great. It holds well and is smooth when panning.

So I needed a ball head for my monopod. I also wanted a quick-release plate for my camera.Once you have a quick-release plate, you don’t want to be without one. This low-profile ball head fills the bill and then some. The ball head has a 3/8 thread on the bottom. So it fits on my monopod without any adapters. But it does have a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter if you need one.The top of the ball head has a 1/4-inch screw for cameras and other photographic devices. There’s also a quick-release plate. It has a unique way of being mounted to the camera. There is a knob, for lack of a better name, that you turn. It has a lever you fold out and turn to attach the camera. When you are done, fold it down. And place the plate back on the ball head. (See Photo)Panoramic shots are a breeze. There are settings on the top and bottom of the ball head used to assist in taking panoramic shots. The ball head moves smoothly. There are no stop clicks. And no jerking of the ball head while panning it.This ball head is a deal for the price.

I use this to hold up my Sony zv-e10. It does what it's supposed to do. I like the adjustment lever design. I love you ked it so much I bought a second one.

Well built, feels good all the way. Easy to rotate(turn), turn lock works well. How ever the weight bearing seems way over exaggerated. I've 3.9kg (8.5lbs) binoculars(25x100). The ballhead is quite wobbly on that setup regardless how much you tighten it. Especially if you tilt the binos.Btw. Ball head was attached on a very sturdy tripod that can bear 32kg (70lbs).If If have a camera and ball head mostly used on level..might work just nice. For astro-binos tilted skyhigh... buy something else

It will work OK for setting up a camera or spotting scope, but the ball head does not rotate smoothly and acts like it has tiny ridges on it when I use it as a rifle rest. Locks up and clamps solid and should work for most purposes though.

This is a very nice ball head for the money. I use it to set up wildlife cameras, and being able to adjust the camera’s position quickly and easily is important to me. At the same time, once it is set, it is important that it be steady, as I leave them in the field for days at a time. This ball head meets both of those requirements, and provides very good value for the money
