I have been looking for a protective case for my large, rugged Onn speaker. This case is perfect! It fits like it was made for it. Nice zippers, and the case feels sturdy. I am pleased!

Speaker fits in snuggly, has a spot for the charging cord. It feels sturdy and has a nice handle to carry it. I ordered grey but it looks black to me not sure if they sent the wrong one or it’s actually that dark. Wasn’t a big deal to me do I kept it. I like having the speaker in a case when taking it places.

I recently purchased this case for my new JBL Charge 5. I am a JBL fan, and I previously purchased a case from this manufacturer for an older Charge 3. So, I knew the quality and durability would be sufficient for my needs--and there would no need to spend $5+ for the other options out there.Things I like about the case:- I like the two-tone color option (black on the outside and gray on the inside) plus the colored stitching to give the case some visual interest.- The flat, bump-out on the bottom keeps the case from rolling over when you place the case on a table.Things that could be better:- The case fits multiple devices, so it is not custom-fitted to the Charge 5. Specifically, the flat, bump-out on the bottom is a different shape than the footprint on the Charge 5. This shape difference in no way affects the overall fit or protection of the case--it just aggravates my OCD-perfectionism and desire for things to match up.- One end of the case was not uniformly smooth on the curve/wrap around to the end. This is a minor detail that most people won't notice, but again, I would have preferred not to have that slight dimple in the case shape.Overall:- You can't go wrong with this case. It is a solid purchase... and despite my very minor complaints, I can't justify a need to spend more than $20 on a case.

Okay, maybe my headline is a bit over-stated. Nothing is totally indestructible but in my opinion, this case couldn't be any better for serving its intended purpose which is to protect your JBL Charge3 speaker from REASONABLE every day mishaps. I say "reasonable" mishaps because as with all things in life, common sense rules, or at least it should, if only more people possessed it. This case will function as advertised, protecting its contents from low level falls such as being dropped from your hand or from rolling off a table. It is certainly dust-proof and waterproof at least to the point of your being able to carry it in the rain without your speaker getting wet. I cannot speak to the case's degree of waterproof(ness) such as if it was to fall into deep water or somehow become submerged. Though I have not tested this, I would surmise, given the quality of the zipper and the outer covering, that the contents of a case that had accidentally fallen into water, a swimming pool for instance, would be unharmed provided the case was recovered promptly. This is where common sense applies. If your particular normal operating environment creates a condition where this is likely, such as if you are a white-water rafting guide, I would suggest you buy one of these cases, place a plastic bag of sand in it to approximate the weight of your speaker, charger and cord and then conduct your own experiments. You could then write your own review and enlighten us all with your findings.The case is constructed of a very sturdy inner shell which is covered by a highly durable, scratch-resistant, fabric-like material with a high quality, smooth-operating nylon zipper closure. It has a firmly-attached carry handle with a soft rubber-like grip. The interior of the case is covered by a velvety-soft, dimpled felt lining which increases effective shock absorption. Each shell half has a divided compartment with an elastic band to hold your charging adapter and cord securely while disallowing contact between the speaker and the accessories thus eliminating the possibility of rubbing damage.In short, this is a well-made, functional, yet attractive case that will fit your JBL Charge3 speaker like a glove. I highly recommend it!
