Semi-hard case is padded, zippered and semi-waterproof. Not bulky but still great for protection of sensitive gear between gigs. I am very pleased with this size as it fits my small mixer perfectly. However, it is perfect for other similar sized electronics I have been looking for a better case.My ADJ WMX1 MKII Light Controller is a perfect fit! Then I found other items I have been struggling to fit in my soft DJ bags. I love that this not just a nylon or canvas bag, or a heavy duty weighing more than the contents and costing as much as the device it protects. I will be ordering more cases from this company!

After checking the interior dimensions would fit, I acquired this case to protect my older Mackie 802-VLZ3. As pictured, it's a tight fit but works. Previously, I had been using a spare laptop bag, but this new case provides better protection, especially for the knobs.The case is lightweight with just enough padding for light protection. There are two zippers, so be sure to leave them adjacent and toward the handle end of the case. Otherwise, if the zippers face the bottom, you could face a scenario where they loosen and the mixer could fall out the bottom when held by the handle.For the price, this is a good investment to ensure the life of your mixer.
