For the price this folding door is awesome. Instructions are a little hard to figure out based on whether you are installing from the left or the right, but their website has very good videos to quickly clear that up. Took me about 30 minutes to install but I took my time. It was a perfect fit for a 80x32 door frame. No cutting needed. They also include a few extra pieces of hardware just in case you lose any pieces.

We have a pantry in our kitchen that didn't have a door when we moved in. Because of the tight space (and it's location), a bi-fold door doesn't work. We tried sliding doors but due to the narrowness of the door way, that meant you couldn't easily access the contents of the pantry. These were super simple to put up. Removing the panel was super easy, so it would fit a 30" wide door. I wish I had bought these years ago when we moved in.

It was easy to put up and it was perfect for our door way and to keep our cat out of the craft room. Good quality.

Worth the buy, the quality is great. Took about an hour to set up (could be done probably in 15 minutes with a drill) true to measurements. Overall very happy. Rating it a 4 out of 5 star for sturdiness just because the “lock” on it is plastic. Also rating it 4 out of 5 stars for easy to install just because it did take an hour to put up with a screwdriver not a drill.

This is perfect for my needs at the moment.Pros:1. Fair price2. Durable (use everyday and still looks like it did right after it was installed)3. Sleek looking (opinion). Not tacky at all.4. Installation is easy.Cons:1. It will require inches to be sawed off the bottom if your doorway is not 80 inches or almost 7 ft. (this is mentioned in the post as well). I had to saw it to 78 inches (6.5 ft.). Also, a hand saw will not do. You need saw with a motor. This is not really that much of a con. Just an annoyance because I am not "handy".a. They give you extra inches in case more is needed as not all doorways are 78 inches like the one where this door is installed.b. The fact that you need a motorized saw to trim this door is good. If you could saw it with a manual handsaw, then the material must be thin, non-durable and without privacy.2. The door latch (frame) is weak. My cat can open it with one paw. So I purchased some velcro refastenable strips (similar to Command but stronger) from Amazon to use and removed the clasp completely from the door frame. This piece along with what it should attach to to close, should be a very strong magnet-type material. It would be great if these had some type of locking mechanism too.If I need another accordion door, this is where I will purchase it.

This is a pretty fragile product. I needed a curtain-like closure for a closet to avoid conflict with how the hard door swung open/closed. The description and ratings for the product sounded generally okay. Turns out, it looks okay, is reasonably functional, but very fragile. Actually, it arrived damaged but the damage was minor enough that I decided to go with it rather than go through the hassle of getting it back into the box and returning it. It installs very easily -- did not have to alter the length (that might have been a trick). This product is so flimsy that even the little bottle of track lubricant split wide open as I squeezed it to apply lube to the track. What a mess! I'm a senior and won't stress this thing too much, so it'll likely survive my handling. However, would caution those looking for a like closure for a kid's closet. This will not withstand a typical youngster's use (had 3 boys, so I'm pretty sure of that). Good luck.

For what this is, and the price, it’s a great door. We are using it as a bathroom door, and it’s as soundproof if not more so than the original wooden door. It looks good and was relatively easy to install. Our one complaint is that several of the panels have a tendency to get stuck together when the door is open, and do not come loose when we try to close the door, so we have to shake the door or pull it very hard to break the static or plastic interaction. We solved this problem by adding small foam spacers between the door folds so the panels don’t touch when the door closes.Overall it’s a great door and we’re happy with it, especially for this price.Update a year and a half later:The door gets used multiple times per day. We haven’t had any more problems with it sticking since adding the foam spacers. It’s held up great, still opens and closes smoothly. We had some small issues with the wheels sticking, but some WD40 (FOR PLASTIC) cleared that right up.The plastic edging the door closes into has cracked from being bumped by us, but is still holding up remarkably well.Still very happy with this purchase.
