Great price for this 1/4” hardware cloth. Ordered for my new chicken run. I feel comfortable that my chickens are safe from predators with this item. I did roller paint it black, now I can see through the run easier, especially when I view it on my security camera.

This is the third time I have ordered Hardware cloth from Amazon. First time from this brand and seller. This LuckIn Hardware Cloth is poorer quality compared to the brand I purchased in the past. I chose this brand because it appeared the same in the photos and description AND Amazon provided a discount to try this brand. However, it is lighter weight, despite being advertised as the same gauge, it's shiny, and it is difficult to work with and straighten. I honestly don't feel it will protect my chickens as well as the other brand.

Had 4 spots that where not welded. One row was about a foot long. Others spots were smaller. Other than that was exactly what I oedered.

Very poor product. Bought 4-50’ rolls of 1/2” spacing and all of them had several defects. Missing strands and inconsistencies in strand spacing. When I bent it 90 degrees the metal would break.

The local rodents learned to get through the light weight mesh around my garden, I needed something heavier. The local stores did not have a good selection of roll sizes and gauge. Amazon did. (Edit added after installing the wire. There was a section of about 15 feet - out of 50 - that had a lengthwise strand of wire missing. I was concerned with appearance, but was able to work around this by the way I cut and used it, and discarded a small amount. Keep this possible issue in mind. If doing the review over I would probably drop to 4 stars.)

I usually do not write reviews. I bought this product for use in raised garden beds. When I was unrolling it, I found rusted areas on the screen with little or no galvanizing. The general quality of the screen that had galvanizing was not exceptional. If you are planning to purchase, just know that the product you receive may not perform the way it is expected to.
