Pointer 78 (270 MS American Shad)
The POINTER has been designed with a very low center of gravity through the use of special brass weights. The low center of balance causes the lure to wobble and vibrate whenever the retrieving motion is stopped. The POINTER will suspend 4 -5 feet deep and will emit an intriguing bass-calling vibration, while in the suspended state. A short twitch of the fishing rod will generate the "Walk the Dog" action under the water.

Hooks are small, have trouble holding on sometimes (even though they are extremely sharp). I do replace hooks with a larger size frequently.

Nice jerk bait. It cast nicely, and has great action. I’ve only used it once so far, but it does catch fish. I’ve caught three northern pike on it in one hour of fishing with it and it still looks great. I think this one will remain tied onto my jerk bait rod for a while.

First the cons. The price is much too high for what it is. Also the hooks could be more durable. They break under heavy use. Pros. These lures catch fish when others dont. The flash and erratic movement attracts fish like no other.

Wow. This jerkbait is incredible. Fishing with this is a joy and catches fish who are timid. If you want something to get a reactionary bite this should be on you fishing line and not in your tackle box or worse not in your arsenal. I was fishing the Delaware River a few weeks ago and the bite was tough as it was mid afternoon. We tried top water, swim baits and finesse rigs but what got the fish to bite was this jerkbait. Light or heavy rod tip twitches sends this bait all over the place. Very sharp hooks out of the box too. You won't be disappointed.

Not a cheap jerkbait, but you get what you pay for. I've caught 14 small large mouth bass in the 1lb range so far with my first Lucky Craft pointer 78 in a ghost shad color and the hooks are still sharp, not bent out at all, and the paint still looks flawless on the lure. No signs of wear, and it suspends well, as it is supposed to. Very pleased with the quality of this lure and I will happily buy more in other colors.
