Ordered and received an awning. Went to install it and the one end was loose. I took the end cover off to find 3 out of 4 screws missing. Sent a message to them saying I was missing 3 screws. I included a picture showing the 3 screws missing. I told them if they would send me the screws I would complete the awning so that I could mount it. Four days later I get a package of more mounting screws, and 2 more mounting brackets. No missing screws to complete the assembly of the awning. I again notified them of the wrong screws being sent. They said I could either go to a store and buy the right screws or return the awning. Yes, I returned it.

Better than expected and I expected it to be good!! If I had to say anything negative it would be I wish the catch pole was a tall as the housing pole.

We put this up with ease. The screws and washers included were of great quality to screw the posts into concrete. It only took a couple of hours to put up. The screen and posts are nice quality as well. Very easy to use. Highly recommend this product.

This was easy to install. It looks really nice and very sturdy. It operates very smoothly. Quick approval from the h o a because it's retractable. My only complaint is i Reordered a second one and it's different. the size is the same. The color is not the same and the design is different than the original. Disappointed that a reorder within a couple weeks that it would not be the exact same. I have them adjoining and the color difference is very noticeable. Other then that I am very pleased with the product. Did not want to return and reorder not sure I would get the same results. For that just a 4 star.

Very pleased with the outcome of this project. Yes it is a project. This did require more tools and supplies than I originally thought. Yet this is a product that has so many uses and there is no way to have directions for every type of install. Hopefully this is helpful. I found no reviews for my exact situation.Since I was mounting to the side of a home with aluminum siding I had to improvise. Cutting small wood blocks to make the awning straight (instead of tilted like the siding) Once I found the studs, I drilled the wood block to the side of the home. Creating even more structure to drill though. Important to note that it does not drill into the floor for support (the larger side w/ the awning) So it was very important that is was extremely secure to the side of the home. Then for the smaller side, where you pull the awning to connect to, we cut a board to drill into the deck to give that more to drill though. Most instructions show you how to do this on a flush surface, or drilling into concrete. Somehow we made this work on the wood deck and aluminum siding. Again this was a PROJECT and had to improvise due to the home we were working with. Not the product itself.Attached are pictures that should help show how it was installed with the wood blocks added for support and stability. Now for the final result...this accomplished everything we were going for. The neighbors deck is about 10 feet from ours. This has given us privacy from their pets/children...ect. On a windy day I would not suggest using this, unless you are only opening it a few feet. Once opened as far as I do ( about 6 feet) that is a large surface area for wind to grab. The windiest day we have used it was about 12 mph winds. After 14 mph it seems rough on it. And honestly we don't love relaxing in the wind anyways so that has not been an issue. The awning itself does pull out harder than I would have thought. To pull it out and attach to the other side, two people are sometimes needed. (especially in any type of wind). That being said, it is a huge plus that you just open it when you need it. There are many times when I am enjoying my deck without the screen open. When I want it open, you just open it! Here come the kids and dog...here comes my screen!I would suggest this product to a friend. A friend that has access to tools and someone handy! All said and done it is exactly what I wanted. Just took more time and patience than I expected.

TL;DR ... Great Product, Great Company, Great Support ... Buy it.This is a real review from a real human. I was not compensated in any way. I'm just very happy.I was looking for an awning system for my van when I stumbled across these "side" awnings on Amazon. It then dawned on me that I could mount these horizontally on my 8020 rack and extend them out from the sides and the back on telescoping aluminum arms. See the pictures. It Worked! Even I am surprised! Why this particularly awning? It seemed compact and nicely designed. Not clunky looking. The positive reviews also helped and the price seemed fair. So I ordered one and did some testing. My suspicions and the reviews were right. This is a great awning ... regardless of how you use it. The fabric doesn't completely block the sun but provides nice shade when you are under it. The fabric is water-resistant but I haven't tested it in the rain yet. The casing is all metal (aluminum), very strong and well finished. The retracting spring is firm but not overly so. I initially wanted to use one 63" model and one 78.5" model which would have covered the entire side of the van. But the 78.5" is a different design ... bulkier and not as elegant (it worked great but the two designs didn't match). So I went with two 63" on the side and one 63" in the back. In the end, that combo worked best.To help deploy them I got a Werner Adjustable Work Platform. I simply get on the platform, pull each out halfway, move the platform and pull them out the rest of the way. I get a 9 foot extension which is plenty. Locking pins keep the stage of the telescoping arms from disconnecting. Gravity (when the arms droop) keeps them in place. If a stiff breeze catches them and defeats gravity, they auto-retract! An unplanned feature. 🙄Throughout this entire process, Luckymore was SUPER helpful and responsive. When I needed extra mounting brackets, they were available and fairly priced. If I had any questions, Zelda was always there to help. I have to admit, I was concerned with working with a company so far away in China but they have US warehousing and shipping was prompt. My only complaint is that there was an occasional disconnect between what I ordered and what the warehouse shipped. Several times, I got too few of those extra brackets and once I got a completely wrong shipment. BUT, Zelda and Luckymore worked hard to make it right. She was unfailingly polite and responsive to any issue and made it right. THANK YOU Zelda! THANK YOU Luckymore! An interesting project ... made easier with this great awning and support from Luckymore. If you are in the market for an awning ... no matter how you mount it ... this is the one to buy!
