Product Description

Turn your bare fish tank into a magnificent underwater domain with the amazing Luffy Moss Wall or Moss Carpet Mesh Kit.

The simple to use set-up package includes all the material to create a unique backdrop; all you need to add is an aquatic plant that suits your preferences.

Like all living things, different species of moss have their own ideal environments and thrive in specific temperatures, lighting and water conditions. Choose the right moss for you and your aquarium then use the ingenious Luffy Moss Wall Mesh Kit to add a luscious, green background.

Ready to install, the Luffy Aquatic Moss Wall Kit contains two pieces of plastic mesh, ten cable ties, and five suction cups. Place the moss between the two 12” x 8” (30cm x 20cm) durable plastic mesh sheets and use the cable ties to hold the pieces together securely. Then use the suction cups to attach the newly created moss wall or moss floor to the glass surface of your aquarium.

  • Before placing suction cups on the wall or floor, ensure you have cleared the surface. This will secure your moss wall or floor.
  • If needed, apply a cut on the mesh so that you can easily squeeze the suction cup through it.
  • If your fish tank is smaller than the mesh sheets, because they are plastic, you can easily trim them to a more suitable size.

With the Luffy Moss Wall Mesh Kit, in just a few minutes, you can make a boring dull space into a lush, vibrantly colored underwater setting.

Disclaimer: Please note that the product is meant only for medium to big fish tanks as the smaller ones might entrap themselves in between the holes.

This works just as it is supposed to. I ended up using fishing line to secure the pieces together instead of the included zip ties, but the zip ties would have worked fine. I started off with a tiny portion of Crystalwort (you could barely see it inside the mesh) and just cut some of the mesh to fit it- 2 months later, I’m about to trim some for another piece. My eventual goal is an entire wall. Great stuff!

I got these to separate me angle fish so they wouldn’t fight and eat each other eggs. Works good but however my fish were extremely diligent and they found that if they kept pushing it at night they could eventually get through. After a couple months I removed it because the fish had figured it out.The material is good and high quality and no complaints there. I can use it maybe in the future for something else. Or with bigger fish :-) angle fish are quite thin and can fit between the mesh and the glass if determined to do so.

Good price, durable material, easy to cut & customize, fast shipping, very pleased with this purchase! For people who are considering this product, patience is key - your Java or Christmas moss will only grow about 1" per month; don't expect immediate results, it takes a while for your garden to grow.

i saw that many people claim that this product is killing their fish but in reality its mainly user error. all you need to make this safe for the fish is to either curve the mesh and only use suction cups at the top or use some sort of sealer to complete block all entrances. fish will find any way to get into a spot they think is safe to hide in thats why with mine i made sure they had plenty of space and access to give them a secured hiding spot.as for the product, i had it for almost 5 months and i love it! slightly too big for my 10 gallon so i had to cut it to size but other than that installing it was easy! my fish love goin behind it while i do tank maintenance ( all 12 fish can fit behind it because of the way i have it set up) and the java moss has been thriving on it! overall great product, greatly misunderstood because of user error.

If you're looking for a different way to grow moss in your aquarium, the Luffy Decorative Aquatic Moss Wall or Floor Mesh Kit may be a good option. However, there are some things to consider before making your purchase. One of the benefits of this kit is that it comes with 2 mesh pieces, 10 cable ties, and 5 suction cups, making it easy to set up and customize to fit your tank. The mesh itself is flexible and easy to work with. It also provides a unique and decorative look to your tank, adding depth and texture. However, there are some limitations to this kit. As mentioned in other reviews, the mesh is not uniform in size and may require cutting and adjusting to fit your tank dimensions. Additionally, since the mesh is not made of stainless steel, it may not be as sturdy as other mesh options on the market. It is also important to note that this kit will not make your moss grow any quicker, and it may take some time for the moss to cover the mesh fully.Overall, the Luffy Decorative Aquatic Moss Wall or Floor Mesh Kit is a decent option for those looking for a different way to grow moss in their aquarium. However, it may not be the most practical solution and may require some extra effort to get it set up properly. If you're looking for a sturdier option or a quicker way to grow moss, it might be best to consider other alternatives such as stainless steel mesh or attaching moss to driftwood with fishing line.

As long as you cut it to the right size and use at least one suction cup for each corner, it's great. I can definitely see how fish could get hurt if you cut it too short and allow them to get behind it or cut themselves on the edges. But after measuring and installing, I love it and it also keeps my beta from glass skating.

After several COVID related delays, two of these kits finally arrived to my house at 930pm. I had a plastic container with half a pound of java moss waiting.I used a pair of scissors to cut holes where the suction cups were going to go and pressed them in place. Then i spread out about 4 oz of java moss over the surface of one sheet of plastic canvas, laid the other sheet over it, and secured them together with the zip ties, which i then trimmed short. I did this which each kit. I gently pressed the suction cups to the interior glass of my aquarium and it seemed to be pretty secure. Hopefully over the next few weeks I'll see new growth peeking through. Right now though the holes in the canvas are small enough that the moss isn't really visible, and that might be to my advantage if the Goldfish can't eat it until it gets established. The product itself is exactly as advertised. I don't have any complaints. I just hope the java moss grows well and i didn't just spend $75 on a snack buffet for my goldies... Lol.

Très utile pour tout de sorte d’applications en aquariophile. Séparateur, culture de mousse... J’utilise les ventouses à thermomètres (avec anneau) pour fixer mes grilles de tailles multiples

Not big enough to sandwich the whole way across, even on a 10 gallon tank. Save your money and buy some green mesh from a hardware store for cheaper. The suction cups don't really secure to it very well either, I ended up using a needle and thread to "sew" them to the mesh, but by the time I got done setting it up I decided I'd wasted my money. It's ugly black mesh (green would blend better), the coverage is tiny (not big enough for 10 gallons by like 5 inches), the holes look big enough to net small fish like tetras or guppies and given how small the thing is, that's just poor design. It's not big enough for a big tank and the holes are too big for the fish you'd put in a small tank. Waste of time and money.

I liked the way this Christmas Moss is packaged. I wasn't sure what to think of the moss. I opened it on Apr 21st when it arrived. It looked brown but was pretty solid. The 3 pieces that were sent are 4 inches by 4 inches more or less. They are the perfect size for my Betta Falls. I needed 3 pieces to create a moss wall in the back of these small aquariums. I sandwiched them between two pieces of aquarium screen then put them on the back walls with suction cups. I also nipped some small pieces and secured them to my aquarium rock caves with Flourish Glue. The glue drys in 20 seconds wet or dry. It makes the moss look natural on the rock caves. I have been preparing my Betta Falls for more than a month and have let the grow light stay on 24 hours a day. The moss is dark-dark green seems to be growing a bit. It is very healthy looking. This moss is still short not long and flowing like the pictures. But in time I expect it will get there being a slow grower.

We were happy when we got it. It was however, very hard to install, and the tie wraps were breaking off so easily. But most of all, I took it out of the aquarium when my rasbora fish were getting stuck behind it, almost dying with severe scale damage, or getting their head stuck in the holes. Because of the suction cups, there is a good distance between the glass and mesh - so the fish sneak in from the sides or under, never to come out again, unless noticed by their owner. I'll try it out with bigger fish in the future.
