What can I say whoever designed this way back when was on to something. The Super Duper is most certainly in my top 5 lures I keep in my rotation. I fish a wide range of rivers and creeks from the bank and rafts and kayaks. I use it when I'm small mouth fishing on the New River or targeting trout on the Gauley and Cranberry and it just works.

What do you do when Autumn trout ignore your tried and true lures? You pull out these oldie - but - goodie, crazy simple, lures. Not sure why that works, but sometimes it does. Picky fish may go for something they have not seen before, and where I fish, most people do not use these lures. You get a lot of "What the heck is that." Check out the other colors too.

Learned of these lures on WV Trout fishing on FB !! Bought several different brand, sizes and colors !! First day of use hooked 8 trout and landed 6 ( my limit ) and they worked great. Fishing on a lake stocked by the WVDNR !! I’ve just caught trout and panfish!! I was using a Fenwick 7’ UL with a Pflueger President XT 25 2lb Florocarbon line!! Use a swivel they will twist your line !!
