The special round shape and resulting multi-directional feature sets the Dipsy Diver apart from all other divers and planers. A shift left or right, as indicated on the base plate, will cause the diver to track to port or starboard, allowing for large spreads of lures to be fished from a single boat. You'll cover more water when the Dipsy Divers are deployed. The adjustable trip mechanism can be set specifically for various lure sizes and the size of target fish. Four sizes of Dipsy Divers are available, with dive depths of up to 20, 35, 50 and 100 feet. Works great fare price a lot better then plastic crap grab a j or a beer go fish and enjoy a great product that will last years unless you snag so buy two

Dipsy divers are amazing, I fish with down riggers and dipsy divers and both are successful. If your looking for a low cost solution for deeper depth trolling, these are a good choice. The biger the dipsy diver, the deeper you can go, the stiffer rod you will need.

This little diver works pretty well, but it should be noted that Amazon advertises it as having a "positive trip mechanism" and it DOES NOT. The larger sizes trip and align with your fighting line to make it easier to retrieve, but the mini diver doesn't do this. Amazon also says that extra depth rings can be added. NOPE. Not this size. Other than these description mistakes the product is fine for trolling for hybrids, stripers, etc. Pulls your bait down to 20ft. deep if you let out 100ft. of line.

Came on time. Very happy with this, going to use this at Baker lake WA for sockeye salmon, etc.
