Awesome funnel of great quality for massive amounts fuel transfer, quick and clean. The mesh keeps the big pieces of dirt that inevitably make their way in a canister. Very good for farm use. Very sturdy. I use it to transfer diesel from canisters to barrels for storage and also to fill up diesel powered devices (generators, tractors, heaters, etc). Highly recommended.

I wanted a funnel with an opening hole diameter measuring at least 2 and a half inches. This one is about 1 and 1/4 inches. I bought a 28 inch safety cone and cut the end off. This works very well.

Large flimsy metal funnel. Arrived in oversized box well packed with wrapping paper - yet was bent. What appears to be wire bead at top edge is merely half-rolled (no wire) with undressed sharp edges and incapable of taking much force. Resting a heavy container on the rim could be a problem. Metal gage appears much thinner than several older galvanized funnels on hand. It does leak now and with use will probably get worse. Have since ordered/received/used a more durable funnel made of plastic, which is probably the new standard for rugged funnels.UPDATE 6-23-15: In addition to the modest features noted above; the funnel traps a small amount of liquid in the (leaky) seam between the two angled components. Not a problem if you're pouring water....... but flammables?? Consequently the previous 3 stars have dropped to 1 star. It's value is doubtful as a serious tool, and at the price charged...a ripoff!

I use this funnel as a reservoir to drain oil in my wood stove. It leaked around the seems a little until I epoxy'ed the seems. Works great.
