This is not a firm lumbar support. I like it for sitting at the table or in the car.It is of a soft material, it does flatten out a bit after a few hours. It does reshape to thicker quickly.I have been using it for over a month, still in good shape. I believe over time, maybe 6 months. It may not keep it's shape as well as at first, or bounce back as quickly.I would say it's light support. Which is good for me. I prefer this over the much harder lumbar support ones.The stitching is done well, no threads coming out.It is enough for my back pain. As I don't like a harder, thicker pad.Easy to use. I just lean forward and place it where I want it.

I got this lumbar support pillow for myself for when I’m on the couch or the passenger seat of my car. My lower back couch cushion has lost a lot of its umph. I’ve been using a lift couch pillow to tuck behind my back while watching tv. This cushion feels so much better than the pillow I was using! It’s shaped to fit in the bend of my back and gives me the support I need.Also, in my car, the driver’s side seat has lumbar support, but the passenger side does not. If we’re on a long car ride, my back will start to kill me, but I took this lumbar pillow the last time and what a difference it made for me! This pillow is well made and provides lots of lumbar support! My lower back is so much happier!

This pillow is actually pretty comfortable in that it feels good and cushy when you lean against it but it is cheaper looking and feeling than I had expected. In addition, the straps that hold the pillow in place are not strong enough and cannot get tight enough to keep the pillow in place where you want it. If you have an office chair that has a space in between the back of the chair and the seat, then the pillow will often slide down and get caught in that space. The pillow is comfortable but it defeats the purpose if it doesn't stay in place or if it seems it won't stand the test of time.
