Pretty. Comfortable. Plays well. But some buzz in low frets.

Sounds nice.Plays nice.A few bugaboos to contend with.I had to remove some glue from the bridge and fretboard.I also had to remove some paint that got on the side of the fretboard next to the body. Some frets were sharp that I had to file down a bit. The usual, these post COVID days.I buy and sell ukuleles after I set them up and tweak them a bit, and I've seen a significant change in quality control since before COVID.They just aren't making ANY of them the way they used to.None of the bugaboos on this ukulele were of great concern to me.I was able to easily clean them all up.You can't tell they were ever there. It's now a perfect ukulele.I've always liked Luna instruments. As far as the quality of their ukuleles go, I would say they're better than most but they still have their little nuances.Like I said, easily fixed.Luna ukuleles always sound great and the overall build quality is very good. It's just the little cosmetic details to look out for as with any ukulele.Once the strings have settled, Lunas seem to stay in tune very well, although their tuning machines do feel a bit rough.I really hate it when people claim that their new ukulele doesn't stay in tune. It can take several days to weeks before the strings are stretched fully.I always set a new ukulele within reach so when I'm watching TV I can intermittently bring it up to pitch during every commercial interruption. I'm usually up till 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. and I do this a lot.It usually takes between 3 days to a week to settle the strings completely depending on the brand and type of string. I always do this before I sell one. That way, I get no complaints.Would I recommend this or any other Luna ukulele?Yes I most definitely would. One star off for the bugaboos.

Works great as a first ukulele. It's beautiful right out of the package and it sounds wonderful.

I bought this uke a couple years ago and I'm still in love with it when it first arrived. I love playing it. And I have never had any problems with it. It sounds great and is so cute and fun to play. Definitely worth the price!

EDIT: The E string and C string tuners grind, despite this not occurring with my Kala soprano uke, I didn't realize this wasn't normal but it has occurred since I purchased it. There's also a problem with the headstock that causes the E string to buzz, I have changed the strings four times and the problem is consistent with each set. I took it to a couple of local music shops who diagnosed the issue and want a fair amount to repair it. I'm disappointed to say the least, I play daily and publicly and have recommended this uke to others.I LOVE it, I have a couple of ukuleles and this really fits my personality. It sounds lovely! I immediately replaced the strings because they were not very good quality, there are also a few places on the frets where there’s is blue paint, but it adds character if nothing else.

Ordered this for my daughter after first purchasing her a my cheaper Uke about a year ago. She started getting really good and pretty serious about playing. As she is also an amazing artist this Uke for her like a glove! She still raves about it months later. She loves the size, weight and of course the print.

Looks amazing! And since Luna makes this, the sound is always great! I may change the strings to, the set I put on my concert tattoo luna. I put the Aquila Red Series on I belive it was soprano size, but the strings fit and sounds noticeably different.
