Choosing a shade
Light Smoke - ~48% VLT
Subtle and aggressive smoke shade perfect for all lights including headlights. Most popular for headlights.
Mid Smoke - ~24% VLT
Original lens color will be much darker but through when not lit. Use only on headlights with powerful HIDs, LEDs, or secondary lighting.
Dark Smoke - 12% VLT
Lenses will appear black when not lit. Gives a "murdered out" appearance. Will significantly impact headlight output.
About LightWrap
The same Luxe LightWrap used by professionals around the world is available direct to you! Our low-initial-tack acrylic adhesive allows you to lay the vinyl on a surface, then reposition it until the pattern is aligned with no wrinkles or air bubbles. Then simply apply heat and pressure to activate and flow the glue and the tint will stick firmly.... the last step to ensure the tint stays is to post heat it to 190deg F. When removed correctly LightWrap will not damage the light's UV coating.
LightWrap comes in multiple shades to ensure you can comply with your local laws. We recommend only Light Smoke gloss on headlights as mid and dark smoke prohibit too much light and the stealth/textured films scatter the beam. For reflectors, side markers, and other lights any shade can be used. Light Smoke will look almost OEM, mid smoke will make your light a deep cherry red, and dark smoke looks black when the light is unlit.

good quality compared to some of the stuff i’ve worked with. will definitely need a heat gun unless your tinting something 100% flat. be carful a little heat goes a long ways. wish it was a little bit darker. i also tinted over my emblems and think it looks pretty good but didnt get a picture.

Went on with ease but reduced light output too much for this Hyundai Ioniq 5. After the first night drive, I removed it ten minutes later. I would advise the maker to update their product listing to include the word “substantial“ on the mid-smoke, like they do for the dark-smoke listing. It is stated in an insert that comes in the box, but not clearly stated in the amazon mid-smoke description.If looks were all that mattered and I only drove in daylight, I’d give it five stars. The light-smoke might be a better option for this car, but couldn’t look as cool (imagining Snoopy - “Joe Cool” - with those sunglasses).

Product does what it says and looks great when finished...does take some heat and thinking when applied...for curves and recessed areas of light .... take your time watch videos on YouTube first on product before attempting good luck! Enjoy looks great on my truck tail lamps! Giving a thumbs up I’d buy again !

really great quality, im no tinting expert but ive done tinting on windows , this is my first light tinting. its very forgiving with being able to reposition it if needed. i used a heat gun which makes it easier. Very happy with the look it gave my F150.

Excellent material that was very easy to use on the tail lights of an Infiniti Q50. Was able to shape/ form it perfectly around all the curves and edges for a flat fit with no bubbles.
