Mine measures over 10k ohms so I assume it will work OK. This is going to be used as a backup sensor, so I will probably never need to use it anyway. In all the heated floors I have installed, I've never had the primary sensor fail, so it's worth it to me to spend a little less on the backup.

Make sure you buy the right amount! The biggest key to this product in conjuntion heated floor tile is to bury an extra sensor line (or two😉).When one malfunctions in the future you can hook the back and be safe from pulling up tiles. Also know where those heads are buried incase you ever feel like splicing on new kit.

It has resistance 3 K ohms only, my thermostat determined it as "deffective" sensor because of required resistanse 9-25 K ohms. Be aware to check your radiant floor manual.
