Your cart is empty.Some of the most buzzed about string on the market, Luxilon 4G Rough 125 17G Tennis String Gold is noticeably different from its polyester predecessors because it holds tension very well for a poly. With 4G Rough, the string is dented so it plays with more flex than regular 4G. Expect 4G Rough to play slightly firmer than Luxilon ALU Power, but not quite as firm as 4G. Good low powered poly for powerful racquets. Strung full bed 53lbs with Wilson Blade S. Good spin and lively enough for power and control.

This string is durable, maintains tension, and helps with spin. Its power is controlled but with a good healthy swing you can smoke'em. This string IS my cross string. I won't use anything else and I haven't looked for anything else. I have used This version and the smooth version for the past year and I'm very happy. I wouldn't suggest this for young players.

Love that string. Lots of control. Do you have a feeling sometimes that you mishit the ball? When I first played with that string I thought I was hitting long and to my surprise I was getting a foot before the baseline. I strung it at 58lbs on a Babolat Aeropro Drive racquet

Great string for control. Generates great spin, holds tension and pairs well (full bed) with my Prostaff 97.
