Bought this at the end of June just installed it today August 3 turned on key switche hit start, started up, checking headlights because that was my original problem low beams on went to high beam and selector fell out.

My canam outlander the switch had off/on/high beam lights. This one just has on/high beam light.On a certain way it is ok cause now I never have to remember to turning the light on when I am using my atv.All other functions work as supposed to.If you hunt and you have to arrive at your hunting site or if you are a poacher (I found this one funny even though they do buy parts on amazon) do not buy it just because of the lights.

I was a bit nervous buying this because it wasn’t labelled as an OEM part. Regardless, I bought it and it worked great. Looks and functions exactly like the OEM part. The only difference was the type of screws used to mount it as this was standard Philips instead of Allen keys which is definitely not a concern for me.

It works for most functions but the dps system doesn’t adjust with this control on 2012 outlander max 500
