my engine is the fd 440v or something like that it's actually a kawasaki engine in the john deere i want to say the tractor is the 178.Filter looks good but the inside dimension of it was a little too small. I forced it to make it fit,but some folks probably wouldn't like it.I don't use that tractor much so I'm thinking the tractor will probably be worn out before I need to replace the filter again
